Over the last week or so both Demon and Angel have been having poop issues. For those of you interested to know the story read the spoiler below.

Ill start with Demon first
Over the last couple week the smushed poo in Demons wheel had a greenish hue on some days, normal dark brown on other days. I sprinkled a fiber source over his kibble and some acidophilus to see if that would help.
His poo during bath time/foot baths was slightly hard but normally colored. Finally over the last 3 days before the vet the smushed poo in his wheel has become very obviously green. The last night before the vet visit i played with him longer than usual hoping he would poo so i could have a good look at it when it was fresh and unsmushed. When he finally did it was dark, hard and coated with green slime.
The vet did a fecal diagnosis (via microscope) and it does not appear to be a bacteria problem. She felt his tummy and none of his internal organs are inflamed. She said it could be a kidney or liver issue and she was unwilling to risk giving antibiotics as it may further stress the kidneys/liver. So no medication at all for Demon. Instead i am doing a slow elimination of things in his diet to see if one of the kibbles is causing stomach irritation.
Now for Angel
Over the last 4 days before visiting the vet i noticed a reduction in the amount of poop in Angels wheel. It began to darken slightly and grew firmer in texture. Unlike Demon however there was no green coloration to it. She too was given a fiber source and acidophilus. Upon closer examination her poop appeared to be coated with a slimy substance.
Her fecal diagnosis showed that bad bacteria was present.
She is to be given
0.06ml of diluted (1:9) Enrofloxin (clear liquid antibiotic, AKA Baytril ) 2 times a day for 7 days.
0.17ml Metronidazole (orange liquid antibiotic ) 2 times a day for 5 days.
The curious thing is that they both exhibit symptoms just after i bought a new bag of babycat. Normally i buy the small bags but the last time i went, small bags were out of stock, so i bought the large bag.
Elimination of the babycat from Demons diet is resulting in less green slime in his poo so far, but still too soon to be sure. Likewise for Angel.
it is 'possible' that there was something wrong with that particular bag of food.

Are you located in Singapore? If you are not located in Singapore than ignore the comments below.
Hedgehogs are illegal in Singapore.
If you get one via illegal methods, you will never be able to provide vet care when the hedgehog needs it.
This would be very irresponsible and serious neglect on your part. I agree with the others, you do not need a 'professional trainer' to learn how to care for your hedgehog.
If you truly care about it and have genuine interest, you will find that doing research on your own will be fun and interesting
Remember you are always welcome to discuss here what you have learned when you are confused or unsure
But i hope you do not expect others to spoon feed you A-Z information!
A simple google search will provide you with plenty of information, it is up to you to read it or not.
