Its quieter than my modular helmet 
Sure still got wind noise, I think thats unavoidable when riding naked bike
Don't know how other full face helmet would be quieter or not

Hello to all the sifus,

I have some questions regarding riding bike gears. I am planning to ride to work everyday with a one way distance of 10km to my office. My budget is around Rm 3000 (around 862 sgd). The main thing for me is I want to separate work and leisure gears (if it’s possible two sets).

I am looking to get 2 helmets (1 for work & 1 for leisure), one riding jacket (was thinking to wear the jacket for work commute and buying those knee and elbow guard for leisure ride OR get another riding jacket if budget permits) and gloves.
* the main thing is I want to have two sets of gears

Questions are
1. Can an armoured jacket fold and stored together with a Modular helmet into a 46L top box?
2. Let say I’m getting a mesh jacket, do I still need to buy a rain jacket?
3. Is knee & elbow guard protective when I’m wearing shorts and T-shirt?
4. Should I get all the gears in Malaysia or Singapore?
5. Last but not least, any recommendations with the budget above and place to get it? (Yes I’m trying to get spoon fed by you all)
6. One more thing, Vespa 150 vs Yamaha X Max 300 vs Honda Forza 350? Leaning towards Vespa due to the brand but in reality practically comes first 🙃

Any contact between skin or t shirt or normal fabric against tarmac also you’ll lose some skin.

Slide = more skin loss

Just a funny question. For raining days, does it work if I can get those long raincoat without pants (like those seen with traffic police)? Does it affect riding?

This can't be stressed enough.

Also to note. New helmets should be unusually tight. As long as the new helmet doesn't cause pain or discomfort from hotspots/pressure point, which are usually due to the helmet shape not fitting your head, all the pads should be tight.

Many newer riders end up with helmets 1 size too large. Then realise the helmet is too loose after a few weeks of use.

Reminder to all (and myself) to never EVER forget your gear.. and ride safely. I would've ended up losing some of my skins if not for these protection.

Yes I was leaning in initially, mid corner I realize not gonna make it then trying to compensate by leaning further.. ended up lowsiding.

Leaning to the right has been my weak side also

sent the pedal to a mechanic to straighten it back up. its fine now

Nothing wrong with the tires, from his own description he ran out of lean angle and low sided the corner, not because the tire lost grip.

Got a new riding jacket today, Shima Mesh pro . This will replace my RM220 Benkia Jacket for my daily rides to the office 

don't force it, but maybe can adjust some technique to adapt to the tyre

I put front 32 and rear is more flexible, between 22~34

thats sort of me.......  semalam found my front and backs at 12-15bar, only checked cause i realize didnt check pressure for a loooong time. it looked totally round and fine, imagine the heart attack i got.

i have the same komine jacket. thin and airy mesh that i very much prefer to wear than other my thicker jacket.

thin but have padding at high impact areas. at least some protection is better than no protection
