I am considering a Cardo... bold or neo... buy once cry once.. who else wants to get... we can get a twin pack and share...cheaper than buying single units.

Like Madmen said, best to try it in person before buying it. Watch YouTube video on how helmet should fit you. It should not be loose and overly comfortable.

And not all helmets will fit the shape of your head. HJC doesn’t agree with my head. The entry level and mid level ones.

Minimum it should be full face and have ECE. And if the helmet doesn’t fit you properly, it’s not going to protect you properly. So spend some time to get the right one.

not really, for heroes who preach no need for ear plugs, makes absolutely no difference for them. they are fine. wind noise not that great also.
I believe them, and they are not lying. Because they have already lost their hearing... ear plugs won't help you get it back magically.

That Sidi adventure is really way too high for street riding IMO. I see the safety aspects but too uncomfortable to walk around with it. I got the Sidi Dune instead. Chear motor HQ got it in stock, can try and buy there.

Personal observation I think boots with zipper or the quick strap system such as Sidi techno 3 is safer and easier to use than normal laces. Sadly the Sidi Dune was the old lace version. Spend more time putting it on and to ensure it is secured properly with the Velcro strap.

Normal denim jacket won't do anything when you slide on tarmac.

Came across Alpinestars base mesh jacket for RM399, comes with CE level 1 shoulder and elbow armor.

Relatively cheap for original Alpinestars. Anybody using it? Really curious if the jacket itself has CE rating for abrasion and how it wears.

Using a mesh jacket now that’s a bit difficult to take off and wear again when sweaty.

Quite cheap for original Alpinestars considering it comes with elbow and shoulder armor.

Edit: and it looks less like a jacket and more like a base layer.

Any examples of the quick dry mesh jacket?

My Kushitani mesh is kinda sticky when wet. A bit hard to remove and wear again. Especially when the mesh rolls up against my skin when removing. Don’t know how to explain.

Recommended by liter bike owner. Bangga saya pakai ear plug sama. Now see how it compares to the 3M foamies. I used the foams for airasia flight, never flying without them.
