QUOTE(toos99 @ Jan 4 2023, 02:45 PM) Very informative. Thank you. I struggle to find a sena distributor in Malaysia though. Kinda stuck on model 50S. I am considering a Cardo... bold or neo... buy once cry once.. who else wants to get... we can get a twin pack and share...cheaper than buying single units. Neo just announced..haven't hit MY yet..

Watch YouTube video on how helmet should fit you. It should not be loose and overly comfortable. And not all helmets will fit the shape of your head. HJC doesn’t agree with my head. The entry level and mid level ones. Minimum it should be full face and have ECE. And if the helmet doesn’t fit you properly, it’s not going to protect you properly. So spend some time to get the right one.

QUOTE(skyblu3 @ Feb 24 2023, 12:36 PM) That's right I still wear my safety gears even when I go out tapau food Accident can even happen in front of your house or in your taman. I remember this guy made fun of me when he saw me. Telling me no need to wear gears. Short distance only, no accident. I then ask him since you can predict, so when and where are you going to get into a traffic accident,? Diam2 after that. I want to say padan muka, but, don't wish for anybody to get into accident. Gloves are really easy to put on, so is the jacket. Riding boots ok ok. For me, I think helmet paling mafan cause need to put on my ear plugs, bandana then finally helmet.

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Jun 12 2023, 02:11 PM) ears felt like it was ringing for the rest of the night...... earplugs definitely a must.not really, for heroes who preach no need for ear plugs, makes absolutely no difference for them. they are fine. wind noise not that great also. I believe them, and they are not lying. Because they have already lost their hearing... ear plugs won't help you get it back magically. it's like a blind man telling you don't need sunglasses. That Sidi adventure is really way too high for street riding IMO. I see the safety aspects but too uncomfortable to walk around with it. I got the Sidi Dune instead. Chear motor HQ got it in stock, can try and buy there.
Personal observation I think boots with zipper or the quick strap system such as Sidi techno 3 is safer and easier to use than normal laces. Sadly the Sidi Dune was the old lace version. Spend more time putting it on and to ensure it is secured properly with the Velcro strap.

Came across Alpinestars base mesh jacket for RM399, comes with CE level 1 shoulder and elbow armor.
Relatively cheap for original Alpinestars. Anybody using it? Really curious if the jacket itself has CE rating for abrasion and how it wears.
Using a mesh jacket now that’s a bit difficult to take off and wear again when sweaty.

QUOTE(mADmAN @ Jul 23 2023, 02:00 PM) Whats the model or any link? https://www.mytakongracing.com/products/alp...ase-mesh-jacketQuite cheap for original Alpinestars considering it comes with elbow and shoulder armor. Edit: and it looks less like a jacket and more like a base layer. QUOTE(Patent @ Jul 23 2023, 01:50 PM) mesh jacket is a must have in malaysia weather.. really feel better when wind passing your body some jacket have quick dry technology or use material that makes it easier when you are sweaty Any examples of the quick dry mesh jacket? My Kushitani mesh is kinda sticky when wet. A bit hard to remove and wear again. Especially when the mesh rolls up against my skin when removing. Don’t know how to explain. QUOTE(Nightstalker1993 @ Jun 12 2023, 12:36 AM) I use these, already 3-4 years liao and now only the extended tab where u use to pull the earplug out is starting to break. Non affiliated link btw https://shp.ee/98ipmymCompared to foamies, it doesn't cut out as much noise so I can still listen to music etc on my comms, and also it lets in more frequencies vs the foamies which muffles everything, so music is more enjoyable too. But it blocks enough noise that it isn't painful at ultra highway speeds if you know what I mean. Now I too can ride like a liter bike owner! No liter bike tak apa, ada ear plugs like one! Recommended by liter bike owner. Bangga saya pakai ear plug sama. Now see how it compares to the 3M foamies. I used the foams for airasia flight, never flying without them.
