I think its more on telco side.. by brother in law using Iphone 14 official bought in Malaysia cant get roaming while others in the family including my Pixel7 is ok. all of us using celcom and had gone to blue cube before travelling to ensure roaming is active.
This happens both in Saudi (Umrah) and Indonesia. End up he has to buy local sim there.

Need to enable and subscribe to roaming before out of the country.. but then again the easiest way is to buy local sim 😅

yes this has been done..he also went directly to celcom blue cube to ensure no hiccups.. end up still cant roam. where as all others in the family can (mix of android and iPhone).

facing the same issue in indonesia. for my case i am on celcom.
last year using P6 have the same issue whereby although data roaming and roaming plan purchased. cant get onto LTE at all.

last weekend , this round with p7 pro, another round of issue with roaming. really speechless. 

please take note on this issue if you plan to use roaming.

Reporting 5g on yoodoo working nicely. Just bought the esim, i took the 20gb for rm20, thats a nice deal. The minimum was rm18 for 10gb.
