The Google Camera 9.1 APK file that enables pro control for the Pixel 8 Pro has been decompiled and should be compatible from Pixel 6 series to 7 without issues.

Perhaps it will also work for Pixel phones.


1. Turn off device
2. Remove SIM card
3. Turn on Phone
4. Go to Settings>Apps>See All Apps>Select 3 Dots in the Top right Side and Select Show system apps>Then Select Carrier Setting and Remove Storage Date then Disable App, then Uninstall Carrier Service
5. Go to Settings>System>Reset Options>Reset Wifi, mobile & Bluetooth
6. Shutdown Phone
7. Insert Sim Card(s)
8. Turn On Phone
9. Check and you will see the 5G is already back, and you can use it

Based on the xda thread, it seems motorola users didn't even get to choose 5g in SIM settings, which is not the case for pixel. So it's unlikely to work

VoLTE is working by default
5G is available by default
No VoWiFi option in SIMs setting, can enable via PixelIMS+Shizuku.

Beta 2 should be quite stable.

Anyway just used it for few hrs now and didn't notice anything difference other than 5G.

android 14 QPR Beta 2 not just for pixel 7, u can install it on pixel 6 too. try it out on ur p6p. don't know if it will work. I have p6 but no time to meddle around with my phone. too busy with work stuffs.
