i have 10.5, just that i wont be coming with my mac for sure.

I done my update from mac. No need to have BSD sub system, no need to patch youtube, no need to patch lockdwn. I love my mac!

Guys, stop wasting time talking to Cust Care ppl lar. They will only "layan" you with excuses.

Anyway now also we have to carry 2 phone:
a) Sub a maxis line, call forward (pay to receive call WTF?)
b) Multi-SIM 1 line (ok lar, just pay RM15 for extra SIM)
c) One maxis + one other telco (another bil to come...)

It's not easy to switch to other telco. My 012 are with me 7-8years, a lot of contact (some I dont even know them). Who knows one might hook me up a big job? Can't take the risk. To switch have to do many things. And I'm not used to doing this, who knows there might be some official stuff I forgot to inform them? Lawyer? Bank? Government thing?

I hear some rumor that Maxis are very close to get the things fixed. I have no idea how true is that lar.

This is what I did:

I have all my songs, video & podcast on "Manual sync" mode.
For songs:
I create a playlist specially for iPhone. I add song & remove song via iTunes like normal playlist. I select iPhone to sync only with this playlist. Everytime I change the playlist content, iTunes will sync my iPhone as well.

For video:
Just select what you want & don't want in the "Video" tab of the iPhone menu.

It's easy as A-B-C.

And also, I was told, you can upgrade your call plan, but cannot "downgrade".

Anyway, BSD Subsytem is working again, just got it installed on my iPhone.

if you use summerboard theme, it should work. but I never try.
for manual modding, the icon for iPod has changed from icon.png to icon-MediaPlayer.png.

Yeah, I'm waiting for MNP too.

Anyway, those that use Gmail in iPhone might want to create the IMAP, https://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=77702

so you wont get the annoying "sent" mail.

Informing friends are easy. Not even worrying me.
Things like:
- business contact (call card give-away).
- registration thing that use ur phone number.
- official documentation that use ur phone number.

those are the worrying one.

oh no no, it will auto save a copy in ur gmail "sent" folder. but ur iPhone will not get a new email in inbox but it's actually just ur sent mail like what we have now.

anyway, I just tried to setup, my gmail account havnt received the IMAP function yet. have to wait.
