Most players generally performed well.
Tbh, Newcastle defence seems better than Tottenham.
We actually didn't had clear cut chance against Newcastle, but we did against Tottenham.

Improvement made

1) Ten Hag understand quickly that, Fred is definitely not a good control midfielder, and thus play him in position where he flourished last season with Rangnick.
The main job is to press opponent defence and DM, which worked well.

2) More calm and confident to handle pressing from opponent team.



Issues to be solved.

1) Martinez still made 1 or 2 mistakes, I hope he get rest.
But seems difficult since no replacement.

2) Antony and Dalot has absolutely zero chemistry.
Sure Ten Hag knew it, let's see how he is gonna solve it.

3) Forward issue. CR7 is too slow. Rashford is too wasteful. Martial is too injury prone. Really headache.

Antony is one leg dimension player, now I think most of the defenders know how to mark him already. He can’t crossed cuz his right leg was sucks, he only know how to use his left leg to shoot, that’s it

Its alright if his partner wing-back can overlap and cross.. but looking like both also prefer to cut inside.. Shaw too..

Dont know why dont wanna explore crossing across the goal instead of towards the corner of the goal.. usually ended up in goalkick..
At least got some variety.. crossing across the goal have chance of recovering the clearance ball and continue recycle it..

As probably Rashford's biggest critic here, he put in a good performance. He got into positions and had his shots on target.
Lloris had a MOTM performance.

Either way solid performance, confident display from DDG, Martinez was an absolute beast, Fred was everywhere his engine is crazy, both Sancho and Antony had some good moments, Rashford should have had a goal or two.

he might lack of his pace but his instinct sprint and respond are definitely too high for current team....
the only player can match his play only fernandes but u cant expect the same combo doing the same day in day out without the opponent realise....
not to say that fernandes are kinda out of form lately.....
