how many english playermaker are there as good as players like Kevin De Bruyne

Most of the playmaker players are foreign players nowadays..

Klopp got Liv to 2 finals in his 1st season, EL and League Cup..
At the very least, he proved that he can get the team to be competitive in his first season there..

Pep comes with a huge cv.. too massive to ignore.. 2 times treble winner..
This phenomenal record and also top 4 finish bought him time..
I do believe if he win nothing the following season he will be replaced..

Comparing these 2 with ETH is a stretch..

That is why for me any cup final(win or lose) and/or top 4 finish is progress..

But dont worry, ETH will get his full 3years + 1year regardless whatever outcome of every seasons..

buying english players are very overrated these days... look at our sancho and grealish... and our favourite captain... will not be interested with any english players anymore... lol... foreign players that played long time in EPL should be priority...

tbh, hard to compare last time vs now..
last time the league are less competitive as now plus "pack" season with world cup....
time are changing n the owner too....
forget the past and look for future.....

somemore need to compare the player in the squad who suitable for the manager playstyle....
frankly say, i expect ntg more than top6 in this season from the current squad....
anything more is bonus....

accept the reality the current squad are not good enough for top 4......
in addition of pack season with our "fitness record", it only gonna be worst.....

i dont really mind the standing in the table and the result.....
i jz hope the team are more fluid and understand each other movement more....
exciting + entertaining play not alway come with result (Like arsenal previously) but at least we enjoy the game....
do i enjoy winning the title even if we play badly? sadly NOT for me....


Problem with the squad
eg.the player should prepare to run more to create space for passing and help cover the others.....

1. the current squad still need to slowly scan own player after receiving the ball < more predictable/lack understanding.....
2. less forward run < stand still waiting for pass/stand nearby own player wait for the ball (blocking dribble space)
3. less passion (improved) < jog when the team are attacking/ defending....no urgency.....
4. poor squad depth < in need of playmaking CDM and striker.....not much player to choose for sub....
5. team direction < are the manager trying to make short pass team play/long pass? it get weird when u buy sancho/antony but playing crossing....+ nobody except ronaldo is good header but his age catching up..

Yeah..that is why whenever CR make dash runs..the mf too slow to pick up till he have to stop and start again.

This team is purely still counter attack team with both Sancho & Antony cannot deliver/beat oppo defender consistently

Passion is long gone apart for few games after the return of the viru

If they want to get rid of CR so much, they should do the same to degea too. Both players not suited for ETH game plan.
