In sleepy, secluded Barrow, Alaska, the sun sets and doesn't rise for over thirty consecutive days and nights. From the darkness, across the frozen wasteland, vampires will come that will bring the residents of Barrow to their knees. The only hope for the town is the Sheriff (Josh Hartnett) and Deputy (Melissa George), a husband and wife who are torn between their own survival and saving the town they love.



I first read the books in 2002, and thought it was awesome. But this ... scary.

Anyone else stoked?(no pun intended)

i don't thnk it would be hard to create the same atmosphere as the graphic novel (for example silent hill)...but maybe we won't get the same feeling watching this movie compared to reading the book...but nevetheless, i will still watch it bcoz i love the book wheni read it not so long ago...

Damn.... Malaysia not gonna release it till 1 November.

This movie looks damn good. Could possibly be one of the best vampire flicks around (still trying to forget the abominable Underworld 2 )

I watched it yesterday in the cinema. Kinda scary and disgusting. yet, worth to watch.

damn scary and horror movie compare to other i watched in my life whole has survive in this earth..

i am glad the director from spider man who created such movie has bring excitment to me at cinema

the ending was pretty good, i mean it was unpredictable to a certain extent, i was thinking they would use some sorta generator to emit a massive amount of ultra violet rays, but yea that would be just darn predictable IMHO...

actually i dun think it's that nice.......

becoz of the storyline of surviving for 30days makes the pace of the movie slow.....

i was expecting lots more action scenes but it wasnt to be......

i was quite disappointed in fact........... its just not so pump up and thrilling....... basically its a hide and run and met then kill movie.....

actually its one week eraly for the sneek peek
