I turned off background refresh. So far battery ok. Unless I use GPS. Will turn slightly hot.

Overall the phone (15pro) is so snappy and fast. Scrolling is so smooth, maybe due to the 120hz. I previously used 11pro. Camera is nice but can’t say it’s a super huge leap from 11 pro when viewing the picture on the phone screen.
*
Scrolling is smooth because of the 120hz screen. Can never go back to 60hz anymore.

QUOTE(stxksy @ Dec 31 2023, 06:25 PM)
my 15PM is running on 17.3 Beta and I'm not experiencing that. I don't have any social media app but I watch video a lot with my phone (youtube, bilibili and safari stream drama). 80 to 30% can get me through the day with about 9 hours+ screen on time.

Woah... that is quite impressive. 9 Hours of SOT. shocking.gif

*Just noticed that you are on airplane mode* and hence the superb battery life?

Update on my battery drain issue.

Tried
-Logged out of Facebook
-Disabling background app refresh

Results. Didn't help on the battery drain issue.

Did a complete battery recalibration and it seems to be holding up just fine. hmm.gif

This is second purchase with even cheaper price.
*
Edited. Saw your post already. Really good price. Maybe SH over estimated the demand and ordered too many stocks. Can confirm they sure loose money throwing prices like that.

For expensive electronic devices like these, are they really safe to purchase online?

I mean, the way courier companies handle packages so they may be thrown left and right, is it not?
*
Yes. They will be manhandled by courier company staffs but Im very sure the online retailers are very well versed in properly packaging the item they are sending with airbags, foam, cardboard boxes you name it.

Only thing you need to remember is to ask someone to help you take a video of you unboxing the item. Many buyers have reported finding a rock inside their packaging instead of the real phone.

See you in TRX on Saturday bro? Hahaha
Lazada has a RM500 voucher that could be used.. I noted the cellular models had smaller or no discounts from the shop vs the WiFi models. Higher discounts for the new iPad Air though..
Can buy EPP from Apple website directly di bro

Not buying the Iphone 16 Pro Max bro.... whistling.gif

I think I’ll unlikely be an early adopter this year too, wife changed her telco plan recently - I think she’s unlikely to sign a new contract with maxis
I’m not opposed to getting an older model iPad (maybe the 5th gen iPad Air with M1 or the Pro with M2) to just have the  AI capabilities later this year, but we’ll see. Oh, I also noted that this gen’s cellular models all only use eSIM - no more SIM card slot..
*
I have been changing non stop for so many years... and I am still keeping the Xs Max, 13 PM, 14PM and 15 PM. So skip this year it will be. Im not going to make Apple a Gazillion dollar company. shakehead.gif

Haha... I think everybody is getting hit. Consumer spending are too saturated. Too many brands and choices on the markets right now. Apple can't depend on the herd mentality of its users anymore.

I panicked when I saw my 8 month old iP15PM Battery Health went down from 99% (cycle count 128) to 97% (cycle count 138) over d past two weeks. Is d rapid drop normal?

Shud I worried? I kinda worried now :S
*
Its normal for the battery to degrade after multiple charges and discharges. Basically nothing can be done to prevent it unless you stop using the phone. Even if you stop using your phone, battery will still degrade over time.

So no point worrying about something you cannot control.

Hi guys, I just change to pro max from 13 pro max with latest iOS version 17.5.1

I found out that my phone easily get hot when charging to 70% and warm when 70% above. How to settle it?
*
Try a different charging brick and cable and see if it yields the same heat during charging.

QUOTE(YoungMan @ Jun 19 2024, 10:50 AM)
Will the Authorise reseller even accept this kind of request? Usually change battery below 80%.
*
Yes. If you pay for it yourself.
