Really love Apple's attention to detail. Last night did the setup for AirPods Pro 2 and was pleasantly surprised that the image that came up has the actual engraving. Never knew this since previous AirPods were all store bought.

My Bose earphones just recently died

So I thought of getting an AirPod pro 2, the funny thing is that in Carousell people are selling it used as cheap as RM3xx

If the serial number checks out with the airpod

Nope, you should be worried. They could use one authentic serial number for all of their counterfeit AirPods.

Anyway, I just read again it’s used so I can’t comment much but if it’s new, then should be worried. However, new ones are so cheap from those official stores from online platforms during double digit sales or pay day sales, just get one from them for the peace of mind.

There are brand new ones going for RM5xx as well and sealed

My suggestion is if too cheap and coming from non-authorized sellers then skip them.

Anyone excited with AirPods Pro 3?

Looks nice if it’s true. Too bad cannot trade in old AirPods for the new AirPods. Having said so these days I listen to my music using my Ray-Ban Meta as it’s more convenient and easier for me. So my AirPods Pro 2 is rather underutilized.

About time. My APP1 is 5 years 7 months now.

I think the cheap AirPods are probably because the Pros are heavily discounted with any Mac or iPad purchase during back to school season. So RM 300 probably doesn't make sense (considering they still cost RM 200++ when buying a Mac or iPad), but I could see sense if some people are selling them for RM 500

Anyhow i bought one at RM500 but manatau it was a fake, so returned it and the seller accepted..

Anyway best way to tell from the fake i guess is that malaysia's packaging is very different than the ones all shown in carousell..

Yes, fake ones can work seamlessly. Glad that you got it returned. Maybe you can wait for the new AirPods Pro or just grab the AirPods Pro 2 during sales on online platforms.

The only reason why I’m changing to AirPod is that I saw in the future that we might have live translation and I’m quite looking in to it but also at the same time don’t want to spend too much money as I have a kid now🤣

How times have changed , my previous buds were Bose qc2 and sennheiser true momentum

Dun buy any Apple products from non-official stores or non-authorised 3rd party resellers.

the airpods was a very tricky situation.. Before the purchase the serial number check online said it was valid..

Then when i had the airpods in hand i double checked again on the serial number, they say invalid..

So that was when i decided that i wanted to return the airpods

I got mine RM 823 last year's April. I won't change if it is not because of my broken AirPods Pro 1. Now looks like I cannot upgrade mine next month.
I'm using my Ray-Ban Meta glasses more often than AirPods Pro now, so it is pretty underutilized.

It is true, I upgraded from 1 to 2 also due because one side has broken down (twice).
Black is nice but AirPods' iconic color has always been white, so I guess I will stick to white if I'm buying.
