QUOTE(jasontoh @ Aug 26 2024, 11:51 AM) Why not wait until the Fed started to cut rate when it is more stabilized? Thinking to convert some USD Its quite hard to time bottom based on my experience. So I will usually average down bit by bit at certain support levels. And who knows, we might even see "buy the rumor sell the news" come next month. |

QUOTE(jasontoh @ Aug 26 2024, 11:51 AM) Why not wait until the Fed started to cut rate when it is more stabilized? Thinking to convert some USD That's what majority of people does. Buy back when it's stable. Sounds familiar? Buy back when it is stable = market already move up by a lot. Same concept. If the rate is good, just buy. I am never the guy to buy when it's stable. I buy when things are falling. For conversion of RM, it's different. I will keep converting out regardless the latest exchange rate once I got my money ready to transfer. If current rate is 5, I will also convert out. I don't keep ringgit. This post has been edited by Ramjade: Aug 26 2024, 12:24 PM Wedchar2912 and Gwynbleidd liked this post

lol BNM wants local insurance companies to offer more "solutions" to support the Ringgit.
https://www.sinchew.com.my/news/20240828/nation/5877206 Cheng hu wants to issue more debt and ask you the insured help fund the budget deficit... as the retirees withdraw cash out of Acc 3, less demand for MGS and GII... This post has been edited by TOS: Aug 28 2024, 11:44 PM |
