Well...

If your whole life in Malaysia...
Then it's logic to convert into MYR & spend it like no tomorrow....

The foreign $$$ won't reduced one...
Because weak MYR would make it's value increase instead 😁

That’s what I keep telling young peeps. Work in develop country. Earn their dollars. Any professional with 20 to 25 years and invest with one eye close can hit 1m and that’s easy number.
Capital no need increase after retire. Just bring back the dividends and let the ringgit do its magic.

It's not impossible for ringgit to hit RM3.80 if US continues to reduce interest rate and BNM maintains OPR at 3.0% for next 1-2 years.

PMX is someone that favours a tighter monetary policy and higher interest rate when he was finance minister in the 1990s.

Malaysia can choose this path - lower growth, higher interest rate, stronger ringgit (like Thailand) OR higher growth, lower interest rate, weaker ringgit.

Haiz. Hope ringgit don’t do strong. 1/3 of my asset in USD and 1/3 in SGD. If I know would have converted everything to MYR when it was 4.80.

Highly possible 😁

4.30 settled down to  around 4.20 this week ...

Next week expected  around 4.10 to 4.15 range....

It’s good for people who earn MYR and want to buy USD but bad for people dependent on selling USD assets to live in Malaysia. Hopefully USD don’t continue depreciating down to 3.2. Haiz
