I installed DC Moto GFM-905 a few weeks ago on my stock gate from developer for my terrace. I opted for swing type instead of folding with roller bar type (stock gate is folding type). I was told folding with roller type will create more problems in the future. (Stuck roller, bent roller bar etc.) Just right after I installed I saw some technicians repairing my neighbor's folding type gate on the bar (aka railing) at almost 10PM at night.

1 problem is the alignment when the gate closes, sometimes a bit offset and cannot lock with horizontal slider through. The stock gate itself also not perfectly aligned and starting to rust at certain areas even after fresh paint job a few months ago due to paint chipping off due to abrasion during usage.

Hi bro, need to check how much does it cost to fix a broken down auto-gate? It is the arm-extension type. When pressed the remote control, only one side is opened (but sometimes this also not working, only can hear the spluttering sound from the motor). The other side totally no sound and not working.
What would be the charges to fix it in general?

mind to share any info on dcmoto arm-type DSPS 222AT. i'm changing my gate and surveying on autogate system. any advantages/disadvantages using arm type VS new rotary type dc905. which one more reliable in term of cost, maintanance and long term usage..

Hi, kianwee. Can help explain what you mean by no place to install the DC Moto gate? Izit because your gate width area is too short?

If my gate width is about 141inches (11 feet+), izit enough to install DC Moto 905? Or do I have to use other type of autogate motor? How wide must the gate area be (minimum distance between the tiang) to install the DC Moto 905? Not sure whether after installing the swing-type autogate motors, can still drive in 2 cars to park... at the moment with normal gate can go in 2 cars. Can anyone help advice? Thanks in advance!

Just to share: The latest DCMoto autogate GFM925 Hybrid model I installed recently is very good. It cost me about RM1,500.00 excluding the wiring cost.
