Thanks already solved. Ordered spare transformer and motor, turned out only transformer needed change - motor enjoyed a bit of greese and good to go. Each repair service i quoted simply quote / suggest to replace the entire thing incl. of housing and controller. That is not repairing only changing to new one which is almost never needed.

Alex. Check your phone. Your customer been calling you and texting you for weeks and you did not reply … for those who are considering him, you really need to think twice when you have breakdown and needed to wait for weeks for a reply. Please, don't force us to resort to texting you publicly here.

Hi all. I am surveying for gate of 16ft width, preferred stainless steel frame with aluminum panel type.

I have fate with dcmoto as my previous model which lasted me more than 10 years (hahaha). But I am undecided on whether swing or trackless folding type. From dcmoto official website, they stated max 2m width for each wing of not more than 150kg weight for swing type.

Personally preferred swing type (ok with open width of 8ft) but worry the motor can't sustain since site stated 2m only.

So wanna see if anyone with the same setup (dcmoto with 16ft swing gate) and working fine. Understood experienced installer so play an important role here.

Thanks 😊

Normally for swing gate shldn't be any problem because support weight is up to 300Kgs one side.

This install at Lakefield, Sg Besi. The developer provide super heavy thick metal gate, DC Motor latest model 975W open close without any problem

https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=859015...590178061032454

For trackless better consider full aluminum lighter weight give less pressure to motor and no problem adjust in the future if the gate drop because hinge is screw on and not welded dead.

Fagolli (same company as DC Moto Digicraft) trackless can go up to max 21'ft weight.

Beware of this Streelwoody Design Malaysia. Terrible service and super rude communication.

I have installed DCMOTO GFM925W.
Are there limitations in connecting the door bell and pillar lights to the main board?

I am told that I need to include a relay card to connect the lights.

And the board cannot be used to connect the wiring for the door bell. Is that correct?.

Appreciate any advice / recommendations

Hi. To control light using the hand remote must hv ready wiring at junction box to light point. Add a light relay to control on off using remote. For door bell normally hv need direct wiring from door bell to out side push button. Some wireman will do wiring to junction box then loop to out aide push button. It doesn’t concern ur autogate board.

Folding track gate system dun hv stopper. Only swing gate will hv stopper to get the gate align stright when fully close. Some who dun want stopper on swing gate also can be adjust to stop align if the intaller know how.

I see, thanks. Got confuse because almost all video/photos shared here, the folding gate trackless has a stopper in the middle.

Folding trackless will hv a center holder for slide in to align the gate and prevent ppl from lifting up the gate when fully close to open a gap to access to the car porch.

Thanks for the reply. The wiring for the bell and lights have been done. The light relay wiring will be using the auto gate board. Plus a separate box for the bell. I checked with DCMOTO and a similar advice was given.
