but im more inclined to egate eventhough slightly (RM20) more expensive. it seem to have a better app integration (smart home / tuya) vs idoor and no need to have another adapter to power the transmitter.

either way dont get those cheap ones la sorry to say the one provided by boss @dblcss failed within like...2 weeks

Just get any single channel wifi module will work. Tuya is good enough.

Just connect follow the hand remote wiring connect and download app then do pairing setup timer inching. Shld work easily.

Sorry to hear the module dun work after 2 weeks. Normally is goes offline and cannot connect back can try remove fully from app then press reset button until led come out blinking none stop ready for pairing. Use app to add device again using wifi follow the std procedure shld be able to work

I use smart life , added Aqara door sensor at the gate each time open/close got notifications, no need to open cctv to check

your gate is swing or sliding ?

Swing , just place the sensor at the gate I don’t need to open CCTV to check my gate is close or open , can set notifications when it close/open from Aqara app . Now Eden gate got their own sensor u can check from their app

if no see cctv , if some one near by the gate, u open possible hit the nearby ppl?

Aqara sensor mainly is for me to know my gate is close or open without needed to check my cctv , regarding if got people or car nearby will hit or not best is check cctv first. Their app need to have smart life or tuya to function

All this Eden gate have already ,new product I think , I setup mine before they lunch their new product, just check their gate sensor is coming soon product ,

anyone able to recommend an installer who to change the DC motor unit in PJ? After 16 years i think the DC motor died. I think the whole unit quiet worn so maybe better to not diy replace the dc motor ...

To view Gate from CCTV can try add Ezviz now can PIP so can see both gate and other module app together.

last time bought the cctv with onvif function but not compatible with smart life app ..cannot add Cam
