Adding autogate system is more for convenience to enter your porch area without getting out of ur car during raining time and when hv small baby in the car.

System hv problem and keep on repairing hmmmm difficult to say because a lot of ppl had installed and been using for so long. break down sure will happen after some time due to wear and tear after opening ad closing for so long. I myself is an installer and user for more then 20 years so far ok because my recent system DC Moto 925W been using for more then 12 years ++ after changing from metal folding to trackless full aluminium. So only change 2 time for board, 3 times for remote and battery std every 2 years++  change prevent leak which will cause short circuit the board.

So du worry get it install by an experience installer.

my ligate swing motor just got flooded when i open up few days ago when it's not working.. is it possible to mod it arm type servo motor on 1 side while remaining swing type on the other side (due to space constrain)

Does DC Moto 925W or Dnor Turbo 880 compatible with track folding gate? No plan to change the whole set of gate to trackless due to budget constraint.

Dnor and dcmoto both has footprint as motor mounted out.. big risk of your car knocking it over

Depend on how u driver in and out. if always driver to the middle shld be ok. Anyway most screw aem will take up 6-7 inch from hinge wall.

Anyway install so many already and customer who knock on the motor is 1000 to 1. So consider ok if more careful. i myself bang my DC Moto once after using for about 12 years++ nothing serious just cover crack so just super glue it only. My trackless Fagolli gate is about 18ft wide.

If worry can install like this sure won't bang and no need to worry if flood

What are some of the reliable trackless folding gates in the market? Looking at around 18ft.

anybody encounter where the indoor remote control for dcmoto, wireless type the weak battery warning keep lighting up even after changing to a new battery.  Leave it for 1 day, and the warning light also does not appear, meaning battery already depleted.
However measuring using a multimeter showing battery still strong, 12v
