I'm planning to install gfm 925w form my folding gate. From the DCMoto site, it shows that it can be power up by solar panel (for charging 12v battery). Is it possible to have it installed without 240v power source? 100% on solar?

It depend the number of solar panel you have, the type of battery, quantity if battery and frequency of use.

For DC Moto 925W You cannot hv both AC and Solar combine to charge the battery. If u use solar then u hv to take the AC power to the board and same goes the other around. Even DC Moto advice not to use solar unless ur car porch is very long n hv spent a lot of $$$ to pull the wire for the control point. And make sure you hv a open area for ur solar panel.

Pls get advice from expert who deal with the product that you are looking for. Everyone can voice out what is in their mind but are they answering your question.

Planning to widen my 14'ft swing gate to 18'ft. 4ft of brick fence needs hacking and replaster. Will find gate workshop in Kajang to weld simple developer gate extension 2ft each side. Since developer already wired for autogate, will plan to complete it with suitable swing arm. Will then install budget autogate to complete it. Have read about DC moto, Dnor and other options in this useful thread. Can anyone advise any good ongoing autogate promotion in Klang Valley?

Hi, has anyone had any experience with FAAC autogate and maintenance /spare parts ? Was told made in Italy and quite pricey too at RM2k.

Cost is less than RM500.

It's made in Italy original, not pattern.

Same goes with DEA, CAME

Plus and negative Plus worth what u r going to pay for and negative point so far no lor. Italy brand lah frd.
U r buying a ferrari not a proton saga. Wiring installation a bit complicated but dun worry that will be the installer headache.

We install b4 at TTDI Dato hse, can see on our facebook dblcss.klg. Once install customer never call again for ages, bad for business.

Ferrari and Proton Saga

One is Italy and the other is Local brand

Both will be the same function and quality
When ever you hear of original made in Italy pls dun compare with Local brand

Have you ever hear of ppl comparing Ferrari with Proton

When you buy an Italian made autogate system it means u r paying for the quality
When you buy local brand mean u r supporting your country and u still get good quality stuff but it's no Italy

Like when u buy LV bag, do you compare it with the local brand which provide the same function just to keep ur stuff

Just make sure u get a good installer and u will be happy no matter what brand you choose
