i renew online with old passport picture.
made tons of tries until they finally approve my picture.

going to pick up this week or next week.
dont bother to wait email say siap or not.
after 3 days can go to the appoint place and kolek.



as for walk in. i think not all accept lo.
UTC sure can but limited number eberyday.

i even went to photo studio to take the pic twice

lanciao la my previous passport photo was way inferior and it was passed then, dunno what dumbo algorithm they put in the system

dont need to walk in.
just go to the photoshop you take photos in (i assume you go to photoshop and not taking photos yourself) and ask them to align. apply and submit passport application on the spot at the shop. ask them to align until no problem then try again submitting online.

if you take photo yourself, i cant advice much, perhaps seek online advice from forums/website.


online application took maybe 1-2 hours waiting time and BAM, you got an email ask you to go collect.

at collection center, REMEMBER to print hardcopy receipt. Bring IC, Old passport and receipt, go collection counter, wait 1-2 minutes. collect your new passport and bugger off

anyway the photographer also need to serve other customers, i can't hog his time, after 2 tries i gave up

I've tried to upload my picture like many times too...
Then later only found out that dotted circle lines is meant for your face only....
Then a few more tries succeed liao...
