Haha, to be fair, they are very close. As far as point and shoot goes, I think this Pixel is my next favourite after the iPhone. (An argument can also be made for the Pixel to be first, but I’m still an iFag at heart, hahaha)

I think we’ve seen discounts since the 7 series bro - I remember the 7 Plus going for 500 less 5 or 6 months after launch. Apple’s official prices haven’t changed though, just the resellers getting rid of excess stocks before the next iPhone with USB C ports launches in a few months.

Haha... The Pixel 6A is a midranger but with an excellent camera. Cant fault it for the price and specs. But a 6.1' screen? I cannot imagine how small it would be.....

What I mean is sales must be not doing so well and hence the discounts offered. I don't think Apple condones such actions by it's dealer but looking at the discount offered, it has to be from them. Giving discounts like this will affect resale value of second hand unit on the market and this will ultimately affect those intending to upgrade when the new model comes out. But then again, inventory piling up in the warehouses will leave them no choice.

got replacement for iPhone 14 Pro due to black screen of death today but seems like there's a scratch out of the box of the replacement unit. After dispute with Apple, they agreed to replace it again. The only problem now is to waste another 2 weeks to wait.

Well, the Pixel 6A definitely has many midrange defining qualities, I’ll share them in the Pixel discussion later. But overall, can’t say it’s a bad buy for under RM1.2k.

I don’t think the dealers are allowed to do anything without Apple’s explicit (or implied) approval so maybe they are fully aware of the discounts, hahaha. But Apple’s resale value is not much better than most Android these days, but you’ll probably get more interests. Buddy of mine at this forum just sold off his very, very new iPhone 14 Plus at a massive loss a couple of weeks ago so yeah, I don’t buy the argument that iPhones have a much better resale value these days. It’s probably still marginally better, but only just.

Updates to 16.5, now my battery life 98%. Was 99%. Sigh

Just ordered the Pro Deep Purple via Celcom since they're having some flash sale where the price of 256GB is the same as 128GB.

My first Pro ever finally, hopefully it doesn't come with the BSOD.

Received it yesterday morning, love the purple despite not being my favourite colour. Was busy copying everything from my 12, can't believe `120hz is so smooth and seamless, to my wife she can't see the difference lol.
