Just want to clarify you will still see 5G even if you set to 5G Auto in a 5G coverage right ? even when the phone is not connecting via 5G

is it ok if I let apple choose my passwords and also save it???

The password is generated by your iPhone and saved on your device. Apple doesn't know your password.

Hi everyone with iPhone 14 and telcos other than Maxis. How is the 5G network experience so far? Useful or just meh?

I am using Maxis but eager to try out Celcom or UMobile prepaid 5G connectivity. If i add the new sim for data plan only, can i still use the whatsapp with my Maxis number? Or Whatsapp will have to create a 2nd account using the new sim number?

Anyone tried this?

For day to day usage, you won't really feel the difference if your 4G is strong in your area. You are not missing out on anything.
If you really want to try, you can add a second SIM, you can try umobile if you are going for prepaid.

Either one of your SIM has to be esim.

If you are just using it for short term, avoid Celcom cause it requires a lot of effort on your end just to get your 5G activated on your celcom line.

Tq you for the response. Not so much about the speed but 5G should provide better reach in crowded places and building area. If you are familiar with IOI City Mall Putrajaya you will notice that Maxis 4G is having connectivity problem in the new expanded wing. It is 2023 and it is very annoying to not able reach your wife on big malls because Maxis no connection LOL

Thank you for the heads up on Celcom. Tempted to try UMobile prepaid but they only have 5G for weekends funny

From experience so far, 5G will not be able to deliver better reach. Keep in mind that the current deployment is Non stand alone. So it still depends on 4G. So all the other advantages of 5G like low latency and massive capacity will not be available for now.

5G currently don’t have any in building coverage as well. Whatever you get is from external towers.

Sounds like you need a second line more than 5G

Reset phone? That’s terrible.

Backup your phone before sending it in. It is always a good idea to wipe your phone before sending it in for service. You can restore from backup after you get it back.

How come? There was so much hype about 5G.. hehe

Day to day usage memang no difference. It is only when you are downloading huge files, you can feel the difference.

Just want to ask if anyone IP14Pro having issue with easily getting hot?
I didn’t have such problem since buying it first day. It is only hot when charging phone using 20w plug.
Recently like past few days it started to feel hot even I browse the webpage and Facebook. If play game even worse. And when it is hot I loss my mobile signal and wifi signal. Making my whatapps video call lagging. I need to wait my phone to be cold to be able to get my mobile signal back.
Before this even I playing game also not feeling hot. Not sure if it is related to iOS 16.3.1. I remembered updating it after Chinese new year.
Is it sometime common or it is broken phone that need warranty claim.
*
It is not normal. Better get it checked while it is still under warranty.

So which do you guys think is which, and which one do you prefer? I posted the same in the Google Pixel 6 thread... will be interesting to see the results!

P.S. Oh, by the way, this was the best banana leaf rice I've ever had - Puchong Mess! I kinda prefer it to Ganapathi Mess thumbup.gif

Prefer Pic A although both are pretty close.
