How to maintain good battery health?
Is it not recommended to charge until 100%?
Apple iPhones have a default setting to slow down charging speed significantly after 80-85% charge —> Optimized Battery Charging

However, IMO, the real number 1 killer for battery health is charge/discharge cycles.
Meaning, the more you use the phone, and the more often you recharge it, will kill it faster than any good charging habit will help.
The real heavy uses that will degrade battery health in no time are:-
- intensive CPU/GPU games - Genshin Impact, COD, PUBG. If one is playing at least 6 hours per day, it will not only heat up your battery to high levels, but also cost you at least an additional 1 or 2 charge cycle per day (which degrades battery health about twice as fast compared to normal non gaming use)
- constant GPS (Waze / Google Maps) usage
- frequent 4K video recording
- using the phone a lot under blazing hot sun (this will maximise the brightness of the phone display, using up battery a lot and also heats up the battery)
- etc.
