strut bars? most modern road cars don't require that. it only will benefit you if you drive the car to its limit. anti-roll bar / sway bar will give more impact in handling. handling sifus can give better insight into the dark art of handling devil.gif

Thanks. I just found out from the customer support and service centre that the Ultra Racing bars are actually offered as an option to be installed at the service centre. Interesting! However, they only offer Stage 1 option where only two bars are installed to the vehicle - front strut bar and rear anti-roll bar. All under RM1k. Will see how it goes.

Will put UC7 and Eagle F1 Sport in the shortlist once the UC6 are due for replacement. It will take a long time though.

You seem to know about Continental tires so asking. Which continental tires is better than the Toyo Proxes R45 especially in the noise level?

Thanks. Which Continental is equivalent to the Toyo Proxes R45 230/60R18 tires for CRV? Especially regarding noise

I was using michelin primacy4 before this.
Now uc7. Good tyres. Comparable. Quiet.

Seems like there are now several more reviews of this UC7 on YouTube and it's confirmed to be an overall improvement to the UC6 in everything from handling in wet, dry braking, wet braking and lower noise. There's even an interview with the designer of the UC7 who happens to be a Malaysian attached to Continental in Germany HQ who explains on the merits of the UC7.

Looks like this UC7 may be a winner with an all-round performance at a decent price.

Just want low noise? I dont htink 230 is correct, original size is 235.
Continental if not mistaken only got UC6 SUV for similar size.

Michelin Primacy SUV
Goodyear EfficientGrip SUV
Yokohama AE61 XT or Advan DB series
Continental UC6 SUV

All these above should offer low noise tires

For 235/60R18 dont have for Turanza but ALENZA 001 is a great alternative to Michelin Primacy SUV tires.

I heard the Michelin are very expensive. So I guess that is good news.

How does this compare with Ventus Prime 4 ?

Can’t find much reviews for UC7

There’s a RM450 deal on shopee

And additional rm120

Making UC7 215/50/17 about RM388 a pop after CC cashback

Ventus is Rm300

Just got Conti UC7(195/55,15), 4 for total RM1020. Suppose RM255 per donut but with free labor, alignment and new valve stem so I guess ok deal?
Still waiting for the CNY free backpack from Continental so not sure what's the quality yet...
Also asked price for XM2+, quoted RM295 per donut so go ahead with UC7 instead...

Just changed from 225/45/17 PS4 to 215/45/17 UC7, way quieter than PS4
Handling of course PS4 is better, but UC7 is more comfortable and quiet
RM345 each, including installation, balancing and tubeless valve

Hi guys, im writing this inside my car on a highway just to help others who’s looking to know how does it perform and not doing the same mistake as me.

Well.. with a bit of regret, Continental UC7 is the noisiest tyre i had ever used the sound rating for this one is like 9/10 noisiest. I used cpc2 before and thought that was noisy too but this new fella supposedly with new n improve thread is better but it is NOT!

My head hurts from the loud bass humming inside the car coming from the tyres, i thought only when driving slow it’s noisy… lo and behold! the faster u drive the worst they get. I cranked up my music also tak boleh counter weh!!!

Grip is good but doesnt compensate with the sound it produce! My biggest regret is this. RM320 for each too! Should have gotten me a bloody falken which is far more quieter!

TLDR: Everyday you drive the tyres will remind you of your disappointment in loud humming ambience almost mocking you to eternity.

Anyone knows if tyre shop allow for exchange?

I am so sorry you have the bad experience. I have a good one replacing my original tyre (Primacy 4) from my Tiguan. It was even more silence than my previous tyres. According to the rating inside noise level is very good BUT not outside. So, if you car has a very good secure windows and good sound partition like VW cars than I suppose this would not be a noise issue inside the car. But I cannot be sure of your situation as every car is made differently as well as every single tyres; even though it claims to have the best technology in UC7.
I can only share my own personal experience
