Just to add...regardless of the hype.... Endless rage is great for leveling. yes my friend..great for LVLING....helps with tanking, dps...u name it....

for lvling spec..after lvling a few warriors.. 1-40...stick with 2H fury....the extra ap, crit, UW, PH is godly early lvls.

once 40, spec MS...the pwnage ...u'll nvr turn back from this..go all the way till u hit 50 and pick up endless rage...it rules for lvling the last 20 lvls.
second wind and WM is a must take...no sane warrior is without it.. WM soon to be nerfed...but..still a good talent...

once u hit 60...you can either respec to MS and pick up WM and SW..then move most points into fury..pickin up crit etc.

oh yea...use SLAM....it is godly.... get quartz swingtimer while ur at it...
easily can mow down mobs. (white swing-> slam-> MS ) should be able to do this very easily with Endless Rage...

nothing to flame about, endless rage is good, as i mentioned. just that Dwish is better. but for leveling, obviously not as ur comparing that works 24/7 over something that works once every few minutes.

yeah but they are still amongst the highest ranks in the pvp world, i will place my judgement on that. and its not hard to gear up, especially post TBC where MANY things are very casual friendly.

i mean cmon, how HARD is it to lose 10 5v5 games a week, to gear up in arenas? yes, LOSE 10 games, not even have to win, go in strip naked and lose. and hell, if you actually try to win, who knows if you can get a decent rating.

lack of gear is NO EXCUSE in pvp. maybe pve where you cant get guild/raid etc etc.
*
lose 10 games per week everyweek = YES, you get gears and that's casual

maths, average skilled pvper earn 900-1.1k arena points per week and it's 2 weeks for a chest/helm/legging slot BUT lose 10 games per week everyweek granted you will make new 1500 fresh weekly 5s gives you <400 per week? So where would you be in 5 weeks time?

I'm not trying to discourage ppl away from playing warrior. if that how my point being interpreted, I do apologise.
WHat I meant was, warrior is THE MOST gear dependable class compare with other classes (some may disagree, but most would agree) so that's the downpoint if you dont work hard to obtain your gears. However warrior scales very well with gear compare with other classes and you'll feel great and have lots of fun.

Stormherald = is not Skillherald
it relies on luck btw for the stun and mace stun % will be tone down in 2.3, it will still be good but it wont be clearly the favourite

Added on October 4, 2007, 2:22 amQuaza is also right about Endless Rage is NOT crap, and I'm wrong to say it crap.

Let me be precise on this point.
All talent points at all 3 talent trees for all classes are good but we only have like 61 points at lvl 70. So you would choose to spend them wisely and get the most out of the talent points you spend.
at lvl 70, Endless rage and improve Mortal Strike is not worth the trade off against deathwish and improve intercept.

king83, to spec into Endless Rage or not is up to you really. different players has different point of view. why not give both (or more) builds a try and see which would suits you.

gear dependant true, but my entire point is that lacking gear in tbc is really no excuse as its so damn casual friendly.

and stormherald is indeed called skillherald. go google/wowforum/wowchat/wowblog more.
yes, it relies on luck, but when people are getting stunned over 20+ seconds undiminished, something is horribly wrong. i personally got a record being stunlocked around 23 ish second, not a microecond able to move. why i was alive? i got healer, but he eventually went oom, cuz healing against MS is clearly no EZ task.
so there you go, skillherald, CLEARLY takes skill.

2 handed is better for pvp as arms ms build. dual wielding weapons is better for raiding as a dps class.

warrior without MS = useless in arena

it's sad really, doesnt give you any chance to play 100% the way you like. Yea, paying $15 per month, you should play how you want. But ppl can tell you "fine it's your $15 per month, but in our team, it's our other $60 and we dont think you fit in"

I want to go fury for pvp/arena but just dont cut it
I want to go heroics as dps warrior but I offer no utility and overaggro too easily, ppl would rather choose other classes.

there'r some good pallies I know of are Shockadins/Retardin, they want to do well in arena but to no avail, they just cant fit it, and they have to go holy...

cry more elsewhere, every class has the exact same problem. want to be on the top? prepare to sacrifice and work for it instead of crying.

depending on situation leatherworking can make a lot more than mining

reason is that most of the time ive been to grind/daily quests etc, most people arent skinners and chances are theres a ton of beast corpses.

netherwing mines come into mind at this point, no one skins at all. just a pile of FREE skins waiting for you to jack it. you DONT even have to kill, just go there and skin your hearts out.

or even shadowmoonvalley. the beasts just outside horde base, people kill them for the netherwing daily quest (the glands) and leave their corpses behind. those are free cash too.

=edit=
another thing to note is, mining can be very luck dependant (how many mine hits you can make, does it drop blue gems or not etc)
while leatherworking is very consistant.
