QUOTE(TAN WENG @ Oct 18 2023, 05:37 PM) Thanks for the reply how about the power is it able to fetch 7 people to hill area like genting or Cameron also the ASA function is it useful n accurate As owner, when I carry 5 pax plus luggage up to hilly area (not genting, but similar, and dirt road not tar road) can already feel is the limit of power. If 7 I think try to climb non-tar road will fail. Perodua is not meant for power, they focus less fuel consumption/city driving. |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Nov 8 2023, 01:46 PM) Also have noticed that there is an 3D printed adapter online that you can use to enable fast charge even with wired AA, but it's really hard to get (and currently out of stock since August). |

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Nov 18 2023, 02:59 AM) How old is your Alza? Mine first batch - received July 2022.... yeah quality for this part feels meh. Will ask SC when next go in.Personally, I do feel that the handles feel like... cheapo plastic... so I reckoned that it will only a be matter of time before they started peeling. However, I was thinking more like two, three years... rather than months. You better go ask the SC on your next service. Maybe we can change it to a matte black 3rd party part (or just wrap the thing matte black) to make it last longer. Unfortunately, unlike the outer handles, folks don't make cheap protection film for the inner handles |

QUOTE(MGM @ Nov 30 2023, 11:34 AM) Not sure why anyone find it inconvenient. Just shift your foot and it will turn back on anyway (if feeling hot). But generally I will let the engine stay off if not uncomfortable, why waste petrol? Blower still works after all. |

QUOTE(cdspins @ Dec 1 2023, 03:08 PM) Got into my first accident using this car. Some lorry reverse into me... The perodua mechanic said will take 3 weeks to repair. Damage is quite bad as the front driver and passenger door kemek and cannot open freely... Sorry to hear that. Based on my experience, make sure to keep chasing perodua, my wife's Alza spent 2 months plus waiting for some stupid insurance approval where there was no movement. Perodua sent to insurance, insurance sent assessor, assessor didn't come and no one chase anything until I tak tahan and keep calling them one by one. Hopefully this is not the normal case, but wasted a lot of time on that. |

QUOTE(RiriRuruRara @ Dec 3 2023, 02:29 AM) You sure mytukar they handle everything for you bcs i read in a thread in /k recently when he sold his car using carsome he has to do the puspakom thing himself and few other problem he encountered. mytukar and carsome are about the same thing right? I sold one car (and tried to sell an other) through both mytukar and carsome, definitely do not need any puspakom. They do their own inspection and can take it off your hands immediately if your documents/keys are ready (and if you okay with the price). RiriRuruRara liked this post

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Dec 7 2023, 11:36 AM) Quick question, will ecostop start the engine if you move the gear to N WHILE the engine is auto-stopped? Haven't tried this myself so I don't actually know lol, coz I feel like there's no real reason to go to N at a stop while the engine is off If you move gear to N the engine will start, even if your foot on brake haven't move at all.Unless it's a long light stop and my feet is tired la |

QUOTE(sp3d2 @ Dec 26 2023, 04:43 PM) Yeah, don't bother with long term putting a tall-ish (as you said 170cm) person there. My son (148cm) can sit there no problem, so shorter people okay (those who don't need leg room). Don't put old people (climbing in not that easy) or anyone above 155cm for long journeys. But best is for you to bring the person in question to Perodua showroom to try la.... |

QUOTE(QQQ133 @ Jan 3 2024, 04:12 PM) Secondly, when I washed my car, I discovered very fine scratch on both sides in front of the wheel arches. They are very fine & not deep, so, one will not detect it on casual inspection and the scratch is identical (as far as I can see) on both sides. I asked the Sales when I detected them, she said it is part of the design. So, I double-checked with the Service Advisor this morning & at the end of the inspection, he told me the same story & said he checked his Alza & just discovered the same 'fine scratch'. But, I can't see any logic in having this as a 'design' for a car. Wonder whether anyone has similar 'fine scratches'? |

QUOTE(tancyew @ Mar 7 2024, 12:07 AM) do you guys know if the windhshield is expensive? So suay got hit on highway and have a big crack :/ no insurance Haven't try before, but maybe 1k or so? EDIT: Probably more, forgot that alza got the special camera thingy in front so I think will cost more. When is your insurance renewal? One 'trick' is to renew insurance and add windscreen cover, then make the claim after renewal. During claim they won't investigate WHEN it was cracked. But only if its coming up soon la, drive around with cracked windscreen for months is a stupid idea with our weather.
