I'm too desperate about it and can't stand to send an email to maxis customer service yesterday evening. I just jokingly ask them why not compatible with iPhone and hint them they'd lost a lot of customers if they never take any action.
This evening I receive a call from Maxis customer service, telling me that iPhone can be use with Maxis without any problem. I asked further whether it's certain places around Klang Valley, and she said "everywhere". So I double confirm by asking her "So would it be just as same as other cellphones", she answered "yes". YES!! I guess finally Maxis realized the problem they're facing. Well I saw ppl arguing over whether the incompatibility does affect Maxis or not. But I found out one point, eventually Apple iPhone will be coming in to Malaysia, and by that time all telcos will be fighting over it. Celcom has taken the blackberry, so Maxis and DiGi would be desperate to sign contract with iPhone. So if Maxis never take action to make themselves iPhone-compatible, they will be out of the picture. Imagine how much money they're losing by then. I do doubt what she said is 100% true, but I do believe Maxis customer service won't simply brag, maybe the service is not as robust at the moment. I'd give them another month 'til x'mas, then I'll get an iPhone for myself as x'mas pressie  Anyone can offer me the best price and willing to give at least 1 month one-to-one warranty?  |

iPhone doesnt have 3G, rather EDGE...
This means that to utilize the wireless broadband the telco of choice is actually... DIGI? What you guys think? |
