Only difference is can't find Lahaina , I chose com 3 unknown port , mbn wise I used eu/Telefonica/commercial/uk , as for Digi, can try apac/vodafone/india

Also seems that the instruction only valid for sim 1, sim 2 so far I can't enable vowifi yet.

10iv user here. i also encountered same issue in whatsapp.
Temporary fix is clear cache and restart the apps.
Or wait a while until it can be send.

Yes, but can lock back bootloader later on, I just tried this a moment ago and works well, make sure you don't change telco later on or else you will need to unlock bootloader and redo the whole procedure again

nope, 1 IV you will only lose Widevine L1, become L3, means your netflix/disney+ will become sd, no more full hd, reason why I lock back bootloader after done with the vowifi tweak. So far I already unlock/relock a few times, I don't see any differences except the one mentioned above.

If using xperia companion repair system, volte and vowifi still there ? After relock bootloader still can received OTA update?

I don't think so, after repair everything should be back to factory default, I followed the instructions stated, seems fine so far, no need to use xperia companion repair. After relock you will still receive OTA update, but once you use OTA update the vowifi will be gone, supposed to use newsflasher to manually flash the updates to avoid overwrite modem file.

i've connected to xperia companion, but there is no option to proceed 'Next' if i opt for software repair for my xperia 1 iv..

but anyways, there is third party approach which is flash the firmware on phone itself.

10 IV discounted at 1.6k or wait for 10 V this august?

you may get another RM100 TNG if you purchase in online with code MAY100.. if budget is your concern, then probably IV is your choice.. only change i think is main Cam only.. chipset are same between IV and V.. no point to pay extra premium for V..

V also has dual stereo speakers, meanwhile IV is single firing speakers.

oo you are right.. in fact, with that pricing, there are some other phone are better.. but snapdragon 695 confirmed it is battery efficient SoC, and xperia phone came with water resistant.. maybe good for those people who need to carry around for works.. speaker could be a reason as well since need to call people..

aiming to get xperia 10 iv too,, i monitor its price nowadays can get ~1.3-1.4k,,, record from previous models show maybe it can drop to ~1.2k then will go up again

but i also want it to be official support with sailfish os,,,basically xperia 10 series are geekphones,,,

i think 10 iv a better choice than v,
1- straightforward camera setup,,,,the ISP on sd695 might need longer readout to process pixel binned photo,,hence slower output,,
2- price,,, 1.2-1.3k vs 2k++,,,the difference we can spend to buy a good bt speaker to compliment iv single speaker,,,

its all about timing now,,,

is anyone know places/seller that selling / open preoder for Xperia 1 V yet ?.

I saw some people already got it ( outside of malaysia of course ).
