May I know how many KM can go when a VTEC is full tank?
Mine is Idsi model, I pump full tank (RM70) after my tank is empty (light up) and start recording the mileage and stop when the empty light on again. The conclusion is full tank can goes bout 500km with avg of 110~120 km/h speed

-Rm 50 last for about 350km city driving (80-90km/h)...vtec, u judge ur self

-Try pedal the gas pedal litely..hehe
*
let the car speed up to 100km+/h and then shift to "N" and release your accelerator pedal to let the momentum push your car without consume the petrol, when your car speed drop to bout 70km/h, shift back to "D" and accelerate again. Repeat the steps and maybe u can get up 700~750km brows.gif

yo, youngman...
wat to prepare?
good question... it's good to come with:
1. an open mind
2. a taste for adventure
3. a passion for the City rclxms.gif

Actually, besides these, nothing much, maybe just some cash if u're gonna sign up...
anythg about RM80 - RM 100 would do.
reason is:
if they auction nice TC Member Number like in my case, at least u wont be left out of the action...  tongue.gif

whr u located?
if around OKR / Puchong / Sri Petaling / OUG, can convoy with us lor...
Otherwise, u can check Feb OTT to find out which convoy u can join, or otherwise, if u know how to get to the location, then be there by 8pm, lor...
Cheers, mate! thumbup.gif

U see, terence...
Every TC OM (TeamCity Official Member) gets a Member Number, in my case, it's TC-288...
It's like ur Nombor Giliran, but for certain special numbers, we bid for it.
U can choose to just get the running number at no extra cost, it's just to keep track of our OMs just in case if we have more than 1 person with the same nick...
Coming tonite? icon_idea.gif

insert sponge or other soft dampener material in between the gaps of the dashboard..might help

this is juz a temporary solution, but to solve it permanently, u still need to ask your SC to troubleshoot

huh? u didn't read properly the diff. between iDSI & VTEC specs from the broucher before purchase?? VTEC got the AUX port for u to plug-in your MP3 player, just go to any electronic shop to buy the cheap AUX cable (sometimes also refer as "Audio in" cable, both end have the male type connector) and then u can enjoy your MP3 inside your VTEC already

Hi jinyee,

Its simply means that: the warranty is provided for the car's spare parts is up to 3 years OR the first 100,000km (if the car is always drive to long distance, then it sure easily hit 100,000km within 3 years. So in this case, even your car haven't reach 3 years, but it already crossed the 100,000km, then the warranty is void. Same apply to those car that seldom drive for long distance, even though the car not reach the 100,000km, as long as it cross 3 years, the warranty is void. So, within that warranty period, the parts is FOC (but i'm not sure bout the labour, as this is what the warranty means)

As for the service case, either 2 years or 40,000km (depends which one come first). Within that period, all is FREE

QUOTE(jinyee80 @ Mar 18 2008, 07:39 PM)
Okie guys, I need someone to enlighten me on this. It says:-

'3 years warranty or 100,000km (whichever comes first) and
2 years free service or 40,000km (whichever comes first). '

Does that mean within the first 2 years, when I send my car for service, every parts and labor charges are waived? Or how? and if that is so, then whats the 3 years for? Defects?

Hi Guys,

Some questions to ask,

1. About the 2 yrs/40000KM free maintenance, if my car is approaching 2 yrs, but only 36000KM in mileage and just done the 35000KM maintenance, can I do the 40000KM free maintenance before the free maintenance period end?
I think your SC wont allow you to do that, as because...
1) useless
2) waste their resource (time, many, parts)

c'mon, think about it, either 2 years or 400000km which ever comes first, you must accept it.
I bet next time if you own a shop with similar service, you also no want your customer do it to you right? no way, increase cost leh.... shakehead.gif
dont be so kiasu lah... notworthy.gif

u should booking first b4 go. thumbup.gif
today go to 5k services, change the oil filter as well at RM17, so expensive!!!! mad.gif
also, i am so luckly to meet the services manager, he is nice and helpful man, ask me go back next week to retify the dash board sound, the bad things is need to put ur car there for a day. only can collect ur car at everning. I will go monday and hope this can settle this time!! rclxms.gif

And the services manager told me that we need to change CVT oil when 20K, only change 1 botol, not flush. and flush at 40K ( flush job RM45, oil RM 70++/botol) Do u guys things flush at 20K millage better icon_question.gif
*
The oil filter actually is optional for the 5k, my sc told me they only ask whether the customer want or not, IT IS OPTIONAL, NOT COMPULSORY. So, if u want, ofcoz they will charge u lah. To summarize it, all is FOC unless u ask for MORE.

Veege,

How much your total cost for first 5k service? ( tot 1st 2 years everything FOC )
Jinyee
*
Jinyee, basically all is FOC for 1st 2 years or 40k mileage which ever come first unless u request for additional/optional service such as change the oil filter for the 5k, which is an optional case...
