I wanna repaint the whole car. I'm not sure why, but it seems that the paint on my 3 doors have chipped. Don't even know what happened or how it happened. My heart break already.....

Its a service issue, thats why u have bad salesman and very very bad salesman. And yes, I'm biased towards salesman.

As for respray jobs, rather than talking about the price, I will recommend you to find those that gives GOOD service even though its more expensive. I have very very bad experiences with cheap and bad service paint jobs. The paint on the top hood cracks after only 2 years and they screw up my electrical wirings and short-circuited my headlights + alarms. Even the hinge on my door is slightly crooked causing my door unable to close fully sad.gif

Wah, feel sorry for you, Yukito. I just saw that my passenger door got scratches, quite deep. And the position is quite low too. Weird thing is my car has no dent, but got scratches on the lower part of the door. Usually if people wanna scratch, it will be on the higher or the center part of the door, not so low. Crap, if i could people scratching my car, I gonna report him to the police. But strange enough these people are hard to catch

What I know is this. If the accident did not cause any damage to your engines, or any parts under warranty, then there is nothing to fear when you send to SC. Car chassis is not under warranty. From the look of it the guy who offer to knock your car only charge 100, which means most likely your chassis only have minor injury, engines spared from the accident.

sorry a noob question here...wats the different between torque converter n cvt???pro can explain o me pls...
*
They are two different thing actually. CVT is a gearbox. Torque converter a device used to transfer the rotating power to your wheels. AFAIK, torque converters are used with normal automatic gearbox, like planetary gearbox. CVT uses different device, but i can;t recall the name.

Please do notice this. There are CVT that are coupled with torque converter, but by doing this, it loses out in efficiency.

Contradicting that, Honda has CVT with torque converter with increased efficiency.

cruising PLUS highway with constant speed at 90km/h
of course can get superb low FC reading...

well, i heard the new city is i-vtec?
no more cvt for the new city?
is that means our cvt is a failure? sad.gif
*
I would not say that. Instead I think because CVT is too expensive to couple with i-VTEC.

1. if u changed to softer suspension, u sacrifice ur handling..if budget is not a problem, than go for adjustable
*
Agreed, on the other hand, if you are no speed racer or drifter, the cost of handling for comfort is well worth it.

hey guys... just got my new honda city i-dsi a couple of weeks ago. Reaching 1000km soon. I just called the honda service center and the guy told me 1st service is just check-up and no oil change whatsoever and oil change is only at 5000km service.

Is that true? I thought all cars supposed to change engine oil + oil filter at 1st service. blink.gif
*
No worry, the oil can usually last more than 5000km. After 5000km service also no problem. Enjoy your city
