intel wont slash their price so fast la till AMD phenom is launched with faster speed.that will take about 2 years 4 price slash.

planning to build a Qcore next year..when will this proc at the store?..phenom Qcore better?

its very hard to say which is better dude. penryn will come out in january while phenom and barcelona will come out around Q2.so my advice to you is just buy whatever you can afford now without worrying about the future chip because this *INTEL-IS-BETTER-THAN-AMD-&-AMD-LATER-IS-BETTER-THAN-INTEL* cycle will not stop until the day you leave the world.

u mean the $316? in USD lar, even then that's a good price. it's hard to justify saving $50 by having half the cache on q9300 tho

im goin to change to q9450, it is the most value.

planning to buy this one too.. so would it be really $316 USD when it come to msia???

bt din amd build their quad frm d ground up... wher all d four cores do reli communicate wif each other....
where by intel jz kinda put 2 c2d together and call it quad core????

haizzz. i think ill wait a bit longer when penryn comes out. ill wait for the price to drop a little. and to see how market condition is. if amd bring out products earlier, than intel has to slash its prices.

Its very cheap 3GHz dual core E8400, only RM699!!

Well, anything below the RM900 mark would be absolutely wonderful for me. Hopefully they release it soon and give us a great price. Its due to arrive when? January 2008?
