Holy MOLY........... i'm sure gona get one of Q9450! USD 320$ converted + estimated tax = RM1.1k then OCIED to 3.6GHz ..... SUPRERIOR PERFORMANCE lol....

I'm also targeting the Q9450. I just hope that these new procs can be "plugged" into our P35 mobos without any issues......

If P35 can't support, we would need to buy x38 mobos which will cost a bomb to our wallet.

RM 4K processors finally exist huh?

Browsed through, wow, RM 5k processor. QX9775 >.< . I don't know if I can trust wiki, but wiki says IT IS QX9775 that is worth $1500, QX9770 is $1400 .

i m not sure but i feel pc stuffs got little tax n even with little tax kills our wallet big time on high end hardware

From what I found, P35 will support 45nm processors. Examples: -- GIGABYTE -- Optimized Performance for New 45nm Processors and ASUS Motherboards Support 45nm Next-Generation Processors

Difference wise, compared to P35, the X38 has dual PCIe 16x for CrossFire (or SLI if rumors are true). The only ones that may need X38 are those with 1600FSB.

QX9770 confirm correct..3.2Ghz with 1600 FSB....

Take q9450 and oc

The 1600FSB is eventually X48 chipset as intel would want to call it. Nothing change except the FSB rate.

sad....got my Q6600 g0 step 2 month ago.......T_T.....but lazy to wait new penryn......for crysis ...

to get a proc...i think...the more expensive...the better...

totally crap... will it be better if the price is expensive but the performance is low? there is nothing that the more expensive the better...should not judge like that...should judge whether it worth the money you pay for...of course if you have lot of money...you can buy the most expensive processor you want...no one will stop you...

a friend of mine bought a new pc qith Q6600, 2gb ram, 160gbhdd + other cool stuff for $1200...

but i like the fact that the quad core is cheaper than the x2 that i bought almost exactly 2 years ago
