We may try to enable Flight Mode on the next nite to check the 8 hours deep sleep is better or the same.

I noticed my battery drained close to 10% at night when my phone is on the bed with me.

So I put the Edge 30 away from me (put it on a side table) and it only drained 2-3% during my 8 hour sleep.

REASON IT DRAINED:
While sleeping, you keep on moving SLIGHLTY. While you keep moving, Motorola peek display keeps turning on, possibly more than 50x a night depending how frequently you move.

Another reason your phone drains a lot of battery (not just during idle):

Your network signal is WEAK and your mobile data is turned ON.
When your signal is weak and your mobile data is on, there are apps running on the background that requires data. If you have WEAK signal, it means your internet is SLOW. When your internet is SLOW, your phone will have longer time to complete its task (of downloading something in the background) hence, will consume MORE battery.

I usually have sleep mode turned on at night. With sleep mode on, is peek display actually still on? Hmm

Hi guys.. Does edge 30 support tap to wake and tap to lock?

It should be somewhere in the settings or go to Moto app and look for Peek Display.

Or you can go to widget and look for "Extra Settings". There is a stock widget icon to lock the phone.

Unfortunately no bro. I checked already before this. The tap to wake one is most important to me 😅😅

BTW I'm looking for tap to wake screen. Not tap to wake peek display 😛

Edge 30 vs Galaxy s22+

I only have Samseng A31 right now. 6.4" feels kinda sufficiently comfortable to hold one hand.

Before this I use Samseng M12, that phone was bigger and heavier. Caused my hand to get cramps from use.

Im undecided between Pixel 6a, Xperia 10 Iv and Edge 30.

Not much difference.

So one last question, any telco support wifi calling with edge 30?

tap to wake - yes

coming from honor20
miss the 1 tap lock, side finger print unlock, notification light
peek display seem overly sensitive, knock on desk will activate it.
