miss the 1 tap lock, side finger print unlock, notification light
peek display seem overly sensitive, knock on desk will activate it.

Cons of near stock UI

- Permanently visible gesture navigation bar
- No option to turn off notifications awaken lock screen
- non functioning auto brightness even with Adaptive Brightness turn on

Pros

- home screen gesture better than Huawei's
- not much background apps running

Edge30 have a poorer idle battery consumption compare to Honor Phone

plus stock android didn't agressively kill background processes

Feb security patch just landed

Android 14 is finally here

saw OCT starting date for 14 update

sadly only 2 noticeable changes from 13
1. Direct login after password pin correctly key-in like IOS and China OS
2. Option to not turn on screen when receive notification, which is much better than IOS that didn't have this option

Seem like it, lock screen display getting much simpler and limited customisation

Is this edge 30 MY version?

Time to switch to other near stock, Nothing
