Just search for kayabar absorber and use those prices as guide.

I also almost got conned by "family pren" foreman before, asking for rm800 for front absorber only.......
I ended up going to another foreman rm800 trw front and back.
Ownself buy, rm500 can get 4 wheels

If you bring own parts, installation higher a bit.
Probably still around rm40-50 per bush, front back absorbers rm150

Uh what? Replace clutch always have to drop gearbox since the clutch is housed inside the gearbox. Unless you mean drop/take out the whole engine, that’s usually not necessary.

Depend on the car but I'm not familiar with the bezza.

Narrower cars often does not have enough clearance between the frame rails to slide the gearbox input shaft far enough to drop the gearbox. If that was the case the engine needs to be hoisted out or the entire K subframe and engine needs to be dropped.

I've worked on many cars that you can't get the gearbox without dropping the engine, even automatic ones.

If that was the case, 700 don't seem like a rip off price considering all original parts and fresh fluids. Also usually on high mileage cars (clutches usually last a long time in such a light and low powered car, unless the driver don't know how to drive a manual), the gearbox driveshaft seals and rear engine seal would be replaced at the same time, and the flywheel resurfaced.....

I have the workshop manual, bezza 1L can takeout the whole gearbox (auto and manual) without taking out the engine, usual process disconnect CV joint, ball joint, exhaust manifold, one engine mount and transmission mount
and out it comes.

those cars that cant take out the gearbox without the engine together, are they usually conti cars?

Yes. Most conti fwd cars.

The worst are the inline 6 on the Volvo S80T6. Typical asinine ford fwd design, where the ford gearbox is L shaped, wrapping to the back of the engine. Some manuals on ford inline 5s are also difficult to work on.

Most other Germans have longitudinal engines so the gearboxes are not a problem.

But even Japanese cars with V6 will need to drop the engine mounts and K frame so you can angle the engine downward enough to slide the gearbox out. Honda's typically the case. Need to drop the subframe.

U forgot one important thing.

After pasang if it is not satisfactory, mech blame the goods while the seller blame the mechanic fix wrong. Last last need double pay workmanship + buy 2 set of new parts.
*
yah...true also...always like that one....in the end we have to spend more to fix it.....
unless you can find a reliable seller and mechanic
