yes, free up wages for better players is a must
like werner case, we bought him for 47m++ for five years, amortization = 9.4m++ per year
he played for us for two years, 9.4x2 = 18.8m++
47m - 18.8m = 28.2m++
we sell him for 20m, 28.2m-20m = we rugi 8.2m++
but his wages 270k per week, that's a lot for three years
haha... u really like me... pandai kira
not only that, 1 less spot in the team too.
No team in the world can afford crazy salaries for most of the 1st team players but underutilized them for longer period of time.
We need pay them base on basic plus performance and incentive. If team perform very good and wins trophies... bonus time for all.
got news we underpaying Mendy a lot(55k/week) and overpaying Kepa(150k/week) .. really headache lor if cannot offload kepa but need to reward Mendy which i think long overdue tim.

Why werner fee can be affected by amortization
But sterling and k2 we pay more than full price

Think of this way
Sterling as direct replacement for werner
K2 for Rudiger
In term of their salaries
I think other transfer also same concept.
If you look at Kepa and Alonso cases too.
We buy first and sell later, a risky business but no choice. At least we preform better than Baka
the previous management gamble buy them young and pray they will turn into hazard.
If cannot, they are still young and got resale value as long they playing thru our team or loan out.
This is why we got too much young players ... i think out of control tim loan out or farm out to resell for a profit.
I'm not saying it a bad business setup but for those young players are joining us thinking good path to 1st team but later found out a false promise for 1st team place.
Sooner or later they will find out and will leave or asking for more $$$ to stay since there are little chances to grow into 1st team.
