No club wants our deadweights lul

Panic now
*
frankly speaking, if i were buyer from other clubs, i will squeeze the selling price as low as possible cos all those players are on high pay salary.
Either they compensate those players salaries by reducing the asking price or compensate the players to leave on lower salary doh.gif

QUOTE(gaeria84 @ Jun 20 2022, 08:22 AM)
Lukaku loan to inter for less than 10m topkek

No bigger transfer fail
*
Lukaku just close the door for other clubs wanted him.
We are dead in nego when he doing this. His wages are killing the club and if he stay, it will be toxic to the team anyway like Bale in Real Madrid situation.
A loan deal is better for both side and hopefully he will rediscover his scoring in new club in order generate more interest and up his selling price next season.

Maybe Todd Boehly behind the scene clear the deck of old high ranking employees of previous owner to avoid informer leaking not so good management decision hmm.gif

If raphinha really priortise and waiting for offer to join Barca ... it really a big red light for us even we managed get him.

imagine if Barca manage get his finance sorted out and he really performed here.. shit lor if Barca come in cheap shot below value bid.

I'm always doesn't like the way barca get their players from us or EPL clubs. At least RM paid up

Actually what happened is

Deco: Barca, I've come to bargain! Chelsea offered raphinha this much, how much you offer
Barca: Wait, let me pull a lever

Despite barca best efforts, RM with their young lineup and unker roti is sure to dominate la liga for years to come. Perez also like james a lot, RM might try to make a move for james in future to replace carvajal
*
At least RM will not trying hard unsettled the players they wanted to lower the asking fees unlike Barca ranting.gif

I think no more raphinha

If Barca goes on spending that money instead reduces their overall debts and offloading those high wages players, they are in suicidal mode.

With the tv right income reduces next dunno how many years and didn't reducing the burden mountain of debts overall, I don't see Barca going to last 2023/2024 season. Unless of cos this coming season they bag crazy amount of trophies and preformed extremely well until got windfall income or got sugardaddy throwing crazy amounts of money buying their high salaries players

the real surprised is Tottenham, can get the transfer fast and efficient done for Conte. I tot that stingy Daniel Levy will be thinking first before backing up Conte fully buying players asap. If Conte can gel them up, they will pushing for top 3 and we will fighting for the last top 4th place.

We got too much "administration" stuffs to settle before even can move on to selling and buying players beside discussing current players we have about renewing and rewarding them. It going to be crazy time for now how boehly and tuchel to managed and "spot on" players they needed sweat.gif

at this rate of non active signing players, we will be much weaker than during "Roman ban time"
Any gua got better rate staying in longer ar?

no choice at current situation as everyone want Barca and Barca want everyone
They are also trying selling another 15% right to continue fueling their spending spree rclxub.gif

Just something really wrong with our scouting and transfers department, why is it man city can stave off real madrid interest and manage to get haaland signature? Why is it our neighbours can get so many signings over the line while we can't?

user posted image

Wanna say boehly fault, not really cos he just took over like 1 month ago, everything is still new to him and summore our old board just ragequit without allowing proper transition to take place
*
to be fair, Haaland didn't really reject or hesitated to join city and his father are ex-city. Afterall city offer are very nice too plus City are on the rise as contender for all trophies available.
2nd, he very young and he can afford to see out his contract and move to another club of his choice if City project didn't work out.

Other clubs are going for below top tier players which we always ignore until last min trying hard grab them before they deal.
When we can't get our top tier targets and 2nd choice all being grab by other clubs, as always we end up last min look for 3rd tiers choice doh.gif

relax....we got july till 1st sep for signings
*
By that time, we left with

those targeted players want to change clubs already done so or won't move.
those clubs want to sell will be calling the shot how much fully aware we are desperate
We are left with 3rd tier players choices will be nego wanting high salary
Those players we want to offload will be hanging around collecting free salary and will not go out loan to smaller clubs

All this repeat again in Jan or worse, again next season

I always wonder why we never learned the trouble we keep getting year after year

we just change ownership so we are in a different situations from other clubs...plus we remove the old board so all the transfer target under them all gone we not going after them.....Todd Boehly together with Tuchel are going after new targets they want...so its a whole new build up the trust with players we never target before ....have to start from beginning.
*
I think me read somewhere Boehly want to do US-style players trade in football world, it a bit unknown for football now.
Maybe this is why we fail miserable until now

QUOTE(gaeria84 @ Jul 6 2022, 02:30 PM)
Previous board had the most idiotic policy, not willing to give more than 1 year contract for senior performing players but still keep allthe deadweights around on high wages

Rudiger want contract renegotiated with higher wages, board didn't want to give him, instead only give contract extension for 1 year and no increase in wages. When rm come knocking with 400k pw offer, then only want to give him 200k pw lol

Not boehly fault we have such an undesirable bench
*
we not sure how Boehly/Tuchel approach for current first team setup.. can be
1 or 2 or 3 mega / superstars with high standard players around them
or
All high qualities players but no super expensive super or megastar

don't think he will be RA buying what he fancy and tell the manager make it work

Anyway, like you said, too much deadweight around our club especially those in expensive payroll.
Reversing or clearing those deal are not easy task now.
It going to take awhile to see which direction our new owners approach on this club

How many of you guys are open to the idea of CR7 coming in for maybe 2 years as a stop-gap pure goalscorer? Assuming he is willing to take a paycut.
Stay in the box, we will get you the ball....type of player.

Yeahx2 I know he is already 37. I find the idea quite intriguing although i know it might not fit Tuchel's philosophy/tactics.

Take the #9 shirt and break/extend the curse?
*
If our boss want him and he want to come.. no problem for me.
Even he much old now but his performance still respectable, can put shame for our forwards previous season.
His work ethic can be roles models for our young players

Any of the players delaying or nego theirs salaries providing if they agreed to the move.

Very tiring and long process beside anything can happen ler

Really sweating for this kind of deal complete but if Boehly can complete it, then he really master in dealing.

IF he willing to take a massive cut to his wage
now 510k per week  sweat.gif

If we buy him around 14m from MU.. his MU salary are roughly cut in half plus the commercial income. Basically he playing for MU at really low cost comparison with our front lines

The key points is can we sell him to recoup some capital back to another club after 1 year, repeating what MU are doing .. lol!

QUOTE(chitchat @ Jul 10 2022, 09:47 PM)
bro u is time to let go, old board is history, right or wrong u have to acknowledge that MARINA/RA/old board is the one make CHE what is it today, a great club. Not to mention the squad that last win CL is also under them, and last season with the signing of LUKAKU, our squad actually one of the bookmaker favorite together with LIV and MANC to win the EPL. Let just say thank you and move on. They have step down, bringing them up again for blaming does not change anything.

Now is totally BOEHLY and co-owner in charge, better this way, so lets just support and give them time.
To me the club should be running like this now since TT have been given the bigger say,

1) Lets say TT given 200m transfer budget and 120m yearly salary budget/cap. Board will agree to slightly overpay transfer fee but not salary unless special case. As salary will have bigger implication in squad later. eg. other player asking same higher pay, or salary too big no club willing to buy if the player flop.

2) TT give the criteria or player he need, scout report with suggested player. If TT want then board proceed to sign if both above criteria meet. If is not possible to sign, than an alternative will be suggested. So i assume TT will have the final say here whether a new player come in or not, be it a replacement for first 11 or backup player. If TT does not want to sign any of those player he will either have to use the loan army or youth and wait for the next transfer windows for better target.

3) Next is the salary cap, if TT want to reinforce a certain area, he might need to sell someone to stay within the salary cap, again who to sell is still up to TT decision and board will try their best to sell. Some proceeding will go back to transfer budget but might not be all, but at least it free up salary budget. Over salary budget means no player coming in, use loan army or youth till budget is free up. Cant afford to sign another LB with ALONSO, EMERSON, KENNEDY still in payroll.

Some might say the current salary cap is not fair for TT as those player are not sign by him, but this have to be done for CHE to become self sufficient club, no manager is bigger than club, if TT is in for the long term then he have to be part of this, else he is free to leave. Knowing all the problem and constraint we facing, than is up to board and fans to manage their expectation for next season. I will take a top4 finish if that means CHE are able to run the right way in long term.
*
Yeah… we need to get the house in order especially the wage structure and budget for long term. Just too many overpaid players we can’t use or not suitable for team hogging the club wages budgets and players place
