bro u is time to let go, old board is history, right or wrong u have to acknowledge that MARINA/RA/old board is the one make CHE what is it today, a great club. Not to mention the squad that last win CL is also under them, and last season with the signing of LUKAKU, our squad actually one of the bookmaker favorite together with LIV and MANC to win the EPL. Let just say thank you and move on. They have step down, bringing them up again for blaming does not change anything.
Now is totally BOEHLY and co-owner in charge, better this way, so lets just support and give them time.
To me the club should be running like this now since TT have been given the bigger say,
1) Lets say TT given 200m transfer budget and 120m yearly salary budget/cap. Board will agree to slightly overpay transfer fee but not salary unless special case. As salary will have bigger implication in squad later. eg. other player asking same higher pay, or salary too big no club willing to buy if the player flop.
2) TT give the criteria or player he need, scout report with suggested player. If TT want then board proceed to sign if both above criteria meet. If is not possible to sign, than an alternative will be suggested. So i assume TT will have the final say here whether a new player come in or not, be it a replacement for first 11 or backup player. If TT does not want to sign any of those player he will either have to use the loan army or youth and wait for the next transfer windows for better target.
3) Next is the salary cap, if TT want to reinforce a certain area, he might need to sell someone to stay within the salary cap, again who to sell is still up to TT decision and board will try their best to sell. Some proceeding will go back to transfer budget but might not be all, but at least it free up salary budget. Over salary budget means no player coming in, use loan army or youth till budget is free up. Cant afford to sign another LB with ALONSO, EMERSON, KENNEDY still in payroll.
Some might say the current salary cap is not fair for TT as those player are not sign by him, but this have to be done for CHE to become self sufficient club, no manager is bigger than club, if TT is in for the long term then he have to be part of this, else he is free to leave. Knowing all the problem and constraint we facing, than is up to board and fans to manage their expectation for next season. I will take a top4 finish if that means CHE are able to run the right way in long term.Yeah… we need to get the house in order especially the wage structure and budget for long term. Just too many overpaid players we can’t use or not suitable for team hogging the club wages budgets and players place
