where exactly the position to place the holder?
*
Place it on top left* of windshield . Mine i put maybe 3 finger from the edge

Notice that the default tyre pressure is 290-280kpa. Do you think its too high? Might going to set it to 240 or 230

Had install the obd tpms bought from shopee . Works fine then notice the pressure setting is quite high. No wonder can feel very bumpy

Did not take installation pic. But u need to pry up the area i show. The button will pop off . Need to be brave abit lol . I could only pry up half of the covers. Then i use the pryer to pop off the obd connector (the hardest part) and proceed to install . Press in the cover back and done. Make sure properly cover back the door rubber on top of the hard cover later (near the left passenger door)

Pryer is included*

Wife needs tax deduction for car below rm150k

Tested CX5 base spec, CRV base spec, CRV 1.5 T & cross V + hybrid

Cx5 & CRV lowest spec are totally empty so not worth it. CRV 1.5 T is good but rm157k, so this is beyond budget. Wife wants kick-boot which CRV lacks so went for Cross

Cross V spec vs Hybrid, get the V. Hybrid doesn’t contribute much to the driving experience

The accelerator has a certain mild vibration to it for both V & hybrid.

These comparisons are not noticeable:

Im driving camry hybrid that’s why asked wife to try cross hybrid. The hybrid experience is totally different, but again, it is not an apple to apple comparison.

To each its own.

What you really need during constant speed hill climb is actually torque, not horsepower. In the same sense that a heavy laden lorry / bus also does not have high horsepower, but diesels and hybrids have one nice thing in common, that is torque at low RPM. So it will generally be ok, you may hear the petrol engine roar (charging + motor generation dual duty) but still works most of the time.

It would appear still much better to save petrol compared to a regular petrol along the way too!

Thanks for the reply. I can tolerate the engine roaring while in high demand. I have made a booking for the car. Look forward to have it delivered.

The blue accents are painted within the headlight, it is very obvious during daytime. I can easily tell the difference between hybrid models and ICE models. It reflects light from the headlight but it is not illuminated like LED. At night it can still be seen from the side, but if you are viewing it from your rear view mirror, it cannot be seen as the headlight is too strong and overpowers the reflected blue color. The logo is just painted. No LED illumination so it cannot be seen at night.

Which engine oil is the best for cross 1.8v? Toyota has 4 options and 0w20 is the cheapest considering its fully syn. 0w20 is really suitable for malaysia climates? cant find how good or how bad is this oil works for toyota malaysia engine 2ZR-FE. Some SA said the oil is too thin for hot weather and shall use vis 40. Anyone has supportive information if 0w20 is bad for cross?

Sound quality is kinda bad, definitely not what you would expect from a >RM100k car

Possible to play YouTube but need to mirror your phone's screen to the head unit

when you say its bad, how bad it is? I do drive vios 2009 g, and it does have bass and clarity and it's less than 100k, also owned a myvi mg3 and it sounds even worst, so not too sure about the bad are you referring to?

I would say many cheaper cars sound better, even a City and Vios. It just feels "weak" in comparison. Best if you go for a test drive and try it.

Maybe it's just me who doesn't know how to tune the audio properly. Feel free to ask other owners if they feel the same.
