never had the chance to test drive audio, btw which variant do you own? any complaints you have so far besides the speakers?

V spec

Well here's a list of my complaints so far or things to look out for if you're considering this car:
- serious lack of storage space (even no pockets behind driver's seat)
- some rattling noise at the passenger door
- wireless charger is slow (don't add this if possible)
- the usual Foot Brake (instead of Electronic Parking Brake)
- very dark interior at night, can hardly see anything. Also, the room lights in front doesn't switch on automatically when the doors are opened (have to press them manually)
- hard to access the PVM (have to access it via touchscreen instead of a physical button to switch it on)
- head unit is a little laggy and the USB port connected to it (to access Apple Carplay/Android Unit) makes it untidy looking
- stock tint is not good enough (recommend to upgrade)
- boot opens relatively slow
- piano black centre panel scratches easily
- perforated leather seats can easily catch stuff inside and I have no idea how to remove those stuffs
- unused box at the centre console area (Toyota should have removed this since it wastes precious space)
- car is always on eco mode, so the acceleration feels slow but I think it does help with fuel consumption
- rear seats aren't spacious enough to fit 3 adults comfortably (width issue)
- driver's carpet is starting to show some wear since my shoe doesn't rest at the padded area by default
- door opening doesn't feel wide enough (maybe the doors are just thick)

All these are my POV and may be a petty thing for most people

looks like just minor complain can be rectified with some after market interior accessories . i do agree the door does not open that wide but i do like it thick and solid.
i rarely use eco (only on heavy jam) normal most of the time. overall i am satisfied with the quality paint trim etc. its a normal suv not much pick up but for normal drive is sufficient for me (hybrid user) any 1 face major issue?

Sorry to bother you busy folks, but overheard that there are cases whereby SA at Honda is asking those who has booked HRV pre SST to cancel their pre SST booking and rebooked now , pay SST and get their car faster

Do you guys hear or experience anything like that with your Toyota SA?

I also encounter the same last time. I booked Cross previously, SA told me that if I trade in my old car. I will get the Cross much more early than those didn't trade in.
And very truth that I get my car earlier than my fren that didn't trade in (Same showroom).

Funnily enough, the Cross HU and Meter Cluster is not synced. One is 11:27am and the other 23:25 so take note that you have to manually sync both

Premium Mineral Motor Oil = lower grade of semi-synthetic, 5k km

SYNTHETIC FORMULATION = higher grade of semi-synthetic, 5k km

FULL SYNTHETIC FORMULATION = fully-synthetic, 10k km

FULL SYNTHETIC 0W-20 = not for G or V spec (they should not include this item in the service maintenance page to confuse ppl)

wireless battery? There is no wireless battery in cross. It is due to WIRELESS CHARGER CABLE connection issue.

Which engine oil is the best for cross 1.8v? Toyota has 4 options and 0w20 is the cheapest considering its fully syn. 0w20 is really suitable for malaysia climates? cant find how good or how bad is this oil works for toyota malaysia engine 2ZR-FE. Some SA said the oil is too thin for hot weather and shall use vis 40. Anyone has supportive information if 0w20 is bad for cross?

0/20 is more suitable for hybrid, 5/30 or higher are more suitable.
