Might not necessarily a bad thing that u missed it. For me the gt2 master explorer is much better due to the chip by tsmc and another good thing is not using 2k screen.

I rather them to use fhd+ instead of 2k for such a small screen and sell cheaper. Small phone screen I doubt the different between 2k and fhd+ is noticeable. It just look good on paper wise but practically I think is overkill and if screen have to replace, 2k screen will cost much more.

Anyhow it now depend on how much they will sell the gt2 master explorer edition. If much higher than probably will skip.

So far I checked, its roughly 2.9k to 3k at Shopee. So its around there. The SD 8+ Gen 1 is really efficient....can sustain performance like a boss in CPU throttling test. I tested my GT2 Pro for 20 mins with 20 threads, avg got around 235 (Maintain throttle to 80%) but it did throttle twice to 62% at two different times. At least it is way better than most of the other SD 8 Gen 1 phones in the market.

Those should be unofficial set imported from China. By the time official set reach the the price hopefully will be cheaper. If close to 3k then I personally won't consider.

I highly doubt it (launching here officially) but one will never know

Anyway, I'm kinda getting fed up with the auto brightness feature of the gt2 pro. Screen gets too dim in darkness and takes too long to adjust by itself. I've had to disable auto brightness for now.

Yup, the auto brightness is the same for me. I would normally just manually adjust its brightness when it gets too dim in a dark room. And... As usual my quick freeze option is bugged again after updating to the latest patch. Lol

I've been entertaining the thought of selling off my gt2 pro and getting the cute and compact ip13 mini as my work phone.

The auto brightness issue has been bugging me for some time plus carrying 2 big phones (ip13 pro max + gt2 pro) when outdoors has been pretty inconvenient.

I thought only cheap phone like my Realme 6 has this problem. So annoying to use. It always stay too damn dark. Luckily my new Neo GT 3 dont have this problem.

Which area? I only bought it for gaming. So far so good. Only too bad cannot use frame plus. China ROM can use the X5 display chipset to insert blank frame to compensate lack of FPS. China rom when playing Genshin Impact can use frame plus mode to make it 60FPS smooth by inserting blank frame.
