Netizen in China is vouching Vivo X80 over GT2 Explorer Master due to the following:

- Better camera module and photo quality
- Cheaper
- Dimensity 9000 power consumption lower
- Realme is crap and cannot claim warranty at Oppa Service Center
- Bad experience using GT2 Pro

According to most of the feedback, its the 8Gen1 SoC that heats up and the UI is bad

Seriously? My GT 2 Pro never heat up like Xiaomi 11T pro..

Warmer yes.. never heat up like boiling water.

As for UI , for me still good compared to MIUI ..

Well its true it randomly heats up but its only warm to the touch. Realme UI 3.0 I do agree it's still buggy here and there but overall its not as bad as it was portrayed in the internet.

Is because of different market different preferences

China market they mostly power user like to play mobile games like king glory, pubg china or gensh** game, also like to use heavy apps like wechat, tiktok, shopping app that are very resources intensive. That's why they can rasa the hotness of samseng fab snap

Rest of world, seems like not as demanding or play store make sure most app not resources intensive. I personally only use WhatsApp as main chat app because not so resources intensive, but some local shopping apps or ewallet apps inherited the china dna become resources intensive (eg Sho***, laz***, tng)

Might not necessarily a bad thing that u missed it. For me the gt2 master explorer is much better due to the chip by tsmc and another good thing is not using 2k screen.

I rather them to use fhd+ instead of 2k for such a small screen and sell cheaper. Small phone screen I doubt the different between 2k and fhd+ is noticeable. It just look good on paper wise but practically I think is overkill and if screen have to replace, 2k screen will cost much more.

Anyhow it now depend on how much they will sell the gt2 master explorer edition. If much higher than probably will skip.

Miui ui of xiaomi is suck. Realme should go for vanilla Android approach from the start then will be much better. Especially now even oneplus also go downhill and market need a stock android experience as an alternative for Google pixel.

Another offering vanilla Android at the moment is Motorola but unfortunately in Malaysia market they are doing bad where majority of network supplier doesn't support volte vowifi over their phone. Realme if go for stock android approach from the start then perception and popularity will be much better.

I value big battery + better SoC

I dont even use 120Hz on my ROG2 with excellent speaker

So just looking around for a replacement, else I will just stick with my ROG2

I suppose only green and red telco got volte support for Motorola flagship device. If you go to their forum someone asking Motorola side about the volte support but so far never got any update. They should done their ground work better, I think provider and telco have to work together to make it get supported. Too bad they didn't make it happen and maybe Malaysia is just a peanut for them and they don't care much. Cannot blame them also, Malaysia market definitely is small.

Just noticed with the latest update, no more holding the power + volume up button for a few seconds to prompt the restart button. It now prompts immediately 😁

GT2 pro? My GT Neo 3 still had to power button + volume up. I didn't even realized this after using for few days. I only noticed it when turning off ram expansion and it needed restart. Thought power button gone but a Google search solved my worries.

I love how Realme bypass YouTube minimize close... Can use sidebar>background stream.

Not happening and going borderline offtopic, lenovo marketing is very poor for their motorola phones here. No offline store presence at all.
