My Sony midrange kaput after 4 years. Luckily got extended warranty that insurance pay 4k to get new tv.

own LG 55LW5700-TA for a decade. heavy use. changed board on 4th year rm900. no any failure since then
next tv will still be an LG

Yes it’s a 2+3 years warranty.
Screen cannot turn on. Tech came and check and said need to replace the screen and sent quotation. Insurance decided to pay me Rm 4k instead.

Sony TV damn reliable, I've been looking for excuse to buy a new TV but my over 10 years old Sony TV just don't want to die on me yet

i think most japanese brand tvs are reliable. i have a sharp also last very long. like energizer keeps going and going

LG is very close to closing it's last LCD manufacturing plant and Samsung already disposed it's LCD patents and manufacturing plant in China to TCL.

I think there is very little to compare about LCD since it is mostly focused on backlight technology nowadays. No one wants to make R&D for next gen LCD tech anymore.

I HV a LG tv. Not sure y even only turn on nvr use any internet, it seems will pull all the bandwidth to the tv. It makes other wifi device internet super slow.

Been using a LG for more than 10 years now. Still going strong aside from the random turn off. It's apparently a common problem.
