HSBB supposed to be "free"-for-all vendor because it's government-funded backbone.

the problem though, imo, is that gomen salah lantik gatekeeper.

and again, asyik upgrade fibre link sedia ada, maka bila nak expand ke tempat yang belum ada?

cuba kalau model DNB 5G berjaya, kita serahkan HSBB to DNB (or equivalent vehicle). Jangan bagi Telekom pegang lagi.
DNB tak boleh jual direct kepada end-users, can only sell to vendors. So tiada conflict of interest nak sabotage vendor.

I need to correct your statement, HSBB project is not 100% funded by the government, it is a Public Private Partnership. The Government had co-invest RM2.4 billion (US$685
million) towards the project, while TM had provided RM8.9 billion (US$2.54 billion).

noted. i'll include your statement in my post.

but I am still in the opinion HSBB should no longer be controlled by TM. the impartiality is very very questionable.

the HSBB access sites need daily O&M and 24hrs monitoring . so naturally TM has to manage/control it.

Very expensive..

What's your Unifi speed now?

Will they reduced 800Mbps price?
*
Yes, they will reduce 800Mbps price. In a future faraway.

For now, any new plan with higher speed will just have higher price.

Hello all,

Is there a way to change the DNS of Fiberhome model number: SR1041F?

Logged into the router but do not see any options to change the DNS.

Hi guys...
It is possible to 'renew' SWU 2.0 plan after contract expired?
If possible, how?

Don't renew right now
UniFi will be launching 1GB/s & 2GB/s plans soon

Who knows, maybe they will have cheaper pricing for the current packages

It's up to you, after all the 50mbps RM99 plan does exist,
it's only offered through TMpoint.

I just downgraded my internet plan from 300mbps to 50mbps in December at TMpoint.

I agree, relaying on cloud like Google Drive/OneDrive like that, have very limit to counter piracy, I can't even download Dell Windows Image from corporate when someone downloading same file...

Corporate can't do anything with TM as only fiber on that area.

that because they use XGPON (10/2) which is cheaper especially ONU

Fiber is shared speed, even with hacked GPON hard to get 2Gbps unless test during 3AM
