Ignore the 1.1Gbps result, my Unifi is only 800Mbps.

Forgot to mention that my test done on LAN.

My phone is 7ms, loaded 13ms.

Yeah they never implemented. Last time I only used the VIP5 and that time I felt the speed was so good Becos before I was using 1Mbps streamyx haha.

I had used 1Gbps and 500Mbps (symmetric) in lion city and back to jaybee to use 100Mbps and now 300Mbps. I would say 300Mbps is a nice spot for speed for most with enough future proof. Seriously in terms of user experience no difference to me since I do not really do so much huge files nowadays.

The only thing that makes the most difference in experience one is the mesh wifi. Previously I already had the same set of wifi 5 mesh system. But I did not manage to set them up at the right spot that allows me to have full speed in my master bedroom last time so my experience with mobile gaming was greatest affected. Now it is fixed and I am enjoying the Low latency web surfing, video streaming and mobile gaming upstairs haha.

Quite difficult.

Dun think there will be other ISPs will invest on the infra. Even TNB is only filing up the gaps by TM only.

Dun think TNB will cover the areas that are already covered by TM.

Even in lion city there is only one fibre infra owned by one company and it rents the infra to all the telcos to offer fibre broadband.

Got a call from Unifi offering speed upgrade, Ultimate Pack, Disney+, Wifi 6 router and TV Box, for $10 more, even though extending contract for 24 months more - which I agreed. I already have Nvidia Shield Pro, so do not need the tv box, but how good is the router given? As I currently have Archer AX20.

And for the Disney+, do I need to use their tv box, or will I be given an ID I can use on my Nvidia Shield? Anyone with similar package can chime in?

Thanks for the info! Currently from 300mpbs $179. I know that some have cheaper prices for this package, but it's ok for me I suppose. Then I guess when their contractor comes in to install the router/tv box I can just say no need.

Or perhaps.. I can.. set it up on the TV in the guest/lounge area then..? It's not like I watch Unifi TV that much, either.. but I wonder if its possible to watch both at the same time? (if that happens - my family room TV and guest)

wow guess what, today i received a call from Unifi to offer me SWU 2.0 promo. RM129 300Mbps + 6 months bill waiver. She even know there was a TR ID from Maxis. Technician will come for router replacement.

With which unifitv pack n free voice call? Rm129 perpetual?
