QUOTE(Lescotesco @ May 8 2022, 02:15 PM) Yeah everything from playstore can be installed. But no Netflix there coz not certified. Yeah that's the only way nowThis is sad to hear i see other post new to unifi already get this box. Mayb u wait for another months for this? Will still try for FOC with 2y ext, but I won't accept if follow current add on price They are asking for RM20 x 24 months (RM480) which does not justify the price for such device |

QUOTE(Mazda9 @ May 11 2022, 04:04 PM) Received call from TM telemarketing team, they said they will send my unifi plus box via courrier but not sure either hybrid or non hybrid version. Further more, box warranty is 1 year and contract extension 2 years. Thanks for the updateMy current package RM159 (800mbps + ultimate pack and unlimited calls remains) but just need to extend the contract for 2 years. Box is free no extra charge. My questions to them;โ:- A) I ask TM what happens if box is spoilt after 12months? They Canโt provide any answer. B) I want confirmation that I only want hybrid box. They canโt provide confirmation as the box will be courrier to your address and need to do self installation. If you want TM to come and install, must pay RM80. Finally I told then to get their manager to call and talk to me as I need clarification on both points above . Do keep us posted after clarifying the both points above You asked telemarketing to call or they called you out of random? |

QUOTE(fookhing @ May 24 2022, 04:24 PM) Can someone enlighten me for TM to install Fiber in my upper floor bedroom, basically they will pull a wire from the pole and clip the wire along my walls on the balcony, come in through a floor gap on out balcony to bedroom door (this was the way the old copper came in), and then clip it some more on the wall until it reaches area where I want to place the BTU Modem, then they will make the small box thing- attached box to the wall and bring out the smaller blue / yellow wires out to connect with the BTU modem? On the bolded partWe have a ethernet cable that runs through a sealed pipe from upstairs to downstairs but I don't suppose we can insert anything into this pipe anymore right? In future if we want to migrate the modem/router location to downstair, we only can connect the BTU upstair with the ethernet that runs via the pipe to downstairs and bring a router downstairs, connect to it. That's the only way? ie. There is no practical value of installing the BTU downstairs? No they no longer install FWS since like 2018 for my BTU relocation and also heard it from some other members here The fiber optic that they pulled from the tiang will directly plugged into your BTU (Literally FTT"Modem") "Reason" given: Lower signal if use FWS Not sure if they reintroduced it later on tho QUOTE(sitescope @ May 24 2022, 08:51 PM) Oversized paperweightAny of them is BTU? If so you need to return to TM otherwise get charged |

QUOTE(frontierzone @ May 30 2022, 10:42 PM) I can't even access portal since months ago. No trick works. Issue same as what someone highlighted prev page. Reported to TM? They can't solve? If they can't solve... I don't think anyone else is in better position to solve If single incident or suddenly I also faced before Apparently the IP I was connected to can't access unifi.com.my (Funniest thing, unifi own connection is blocked from accessing unifi own official website) |

QUOTE(tzh2001 @ May 31 2022, 09:02 AM) more than enough for 2 old folk Righti didnt see any perpetual wording in the account, i also wonder is it perpetual Unless your parents are kaki streamer, gamer, downloader If not, WhatsApp, FB, 4D and watching IPTV... more than enough QUOTE(frontierzone @ May 31 2022, 02:16 PM) How come your screenshot shows this another UI way to presentation, with the appended sentences? The one I accessed in the Unifi Portal at home/selfcare.unifi.com.my it shows something like this for a Order Request:- Right this is the part that determine the discount» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This was supposed to be the same RRB MTU offer processing, it actually stands for Riang Raya something, Migrate To Unifi as you said RM69 Perpetually, however this Request Order was done by an agent who promised the RRB MTU offer to migrate Streamyx (Unifi Lite) to Unifi30mbps RM69 perpetually under this RRB MTU Offer, but the order request was keyed in with another set of plan without customer knowledge which is NOT the RRB MTU 69 perpertual plan. Basically this order shows that the plan is contracted for 24 months against early termination, with the RM20 discount (RM69) only lasting for 12 months isnt it? Can anyone elaborate what are those major abbrev in the order? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Promo Discount 12 Months Promo Discount RM20 Last time there are two matches, Promo Discount 24 Months or Promo Discount Perpetual |

QUOTE(frontierzone @ Jun 1 2022, 10:41 AM) The other forummer @Pica888 who got Perpetual 69 said his Order Sheet same as mine too with 24 months contract, 12 months promo duration. Just that during his Live Chat they confirmed Perpetual, and his Unifi Portal under Activities showed a series of "logs" showing the exact Promo short code, possibly internal usage jargons, it does say Perpetual 69, but the log disappear shortly after and all he had is the screenshot he took to proof the Perpetual. Guess only TM can answer thisRefer Post #989, 992 https://pictr.com/image/BXswu8 |

QUOTE(westlife @ Jul 1 2022, 06:00 PM) u got the SWU promo? how did you get it? Just so that you won't waste your time & petrol going over, I would like to remind you that TMpoints don't usually open on Sundaysi actually have the transfer request id from DiGi but i did not submit to unifi yet. That day unifi agent called i did not manage to answer the call. am planning to go to tm point on this sunday to see if they can offer me the promo. besides, i tot SWU only offer 300Mbps plan at rm129. They do give free upgrade to 300Mbps plus 6 months free? that's very good offer. Unless you're sure that particular branch operates on Sundays Otherwise, you will have to find a way to go on a weekday |

My house is covered by Unifi since more than 3 years ago and the infra is at the backlane
Today afternoon there were a few of them pulling one more cable at the back of my house onto the posts, same yellow colour line cable Anyone knows is this for additional port or what is this additional one cable for? |
