Just went to TM Point Kota Tinggi with my parents to terminate one of our contracts at another house

Currently my mom has 2 30mbps package under her account, and both is out of contract and we just terminated one of it.

Asked him slyly about SWU packages, the guy told me that SWU is only up to 300mbps, and it’s RM119/month for just speed upgrade to 300mbps with 6 months waiver of billing, no mesh/UPB/free speed upgrade for 6m/1y.

And I’ve seen conflicting information about people getting 300mbps with free upgrade to 500mbps, and also 1gbps?

Should I get my mom to try our luck again at another TM Point?

Also the guy told me that there’s no fee for relocation, in/out of a contract, is this true? Could’ve sworn I’ve read from TM’s website on it has a fee for relocation for services.

So he submitted a termination request. Within 2 days TM called him to counter offer and he's now paying RM169 for 800Mb/s

just upgraded to swu 3.0 300mbps and i got dlink ax3000. got few question.

1. why the 2.4ghz performance so weak compared to my previous tplink ac1200? download only aroud 50++ mbps. still have few old device running on 2.4ghz. no problem on 5ghz and new device.
2. how to set dns on the router.
