Planning to jump ship over from Maxis. Does anyone know what brand TM will provide for the Mesh network? Are they still giving Deco M9?

incoming UNIFI packages are becoming clearer.
free upgrades are as follows.
30mbps to 100mbps
100mbps and 300mbps to 500mbps
500mbps to 1gbps
800mbps to 2gbps
special package 30mbp/rm69 for b40 and special categories.

Roughly how many more months? Trying to weigh the pros and cons

I though MSAP would reduce pricing. Apparently not. TM makes it appear as if they are giving discount but end-up same pricing as before.

TM has removed UNIFI 's 30mbps business package . expect UNIFI HOME 30mbps package  to upgrade to 100 mbps for free .

i still keeping my copper landline, free rental, why not; 

i think i asked to cut the landline since got monthly charges after replaced streamyx with fibre, then the girl said can keep for free if i want, so i kept it,

oh this one ocassionally promo give taste of upgrade then after 6 months pull back entice u to upgrade[B]
my parent house got get before free upgrade to 100mbps 6 months after that just ignore them dun reply any for upgrade so bil still same no upgrade

mine is 300mbps ... contract also just ended.

yesterday got time to go to TM, been offer for RM129/month for same speed , RM0 for 6 months, and new wifi 6 router.

i just told the CS that i been getting call by Maxis and they offer me cheaper. didnt bring any transfer ID.


but while at the TM yesterday, other customers seems want to terminate their internet with unifi. and most of them can not do the termination because didn't bring along their bank account statement. 

yeah...i saw their termination form also mention need to give bank statement.

if not, they dont want to proceed. got some uncles left the TM point sadly.
the CS explain HQ need the bank statement because want to pay any extra we already made before.

no bank statement, no termination, come back again.

Okay we will have better hope if all vote for PAS in next GE.

And if you are above 100 Mbps, you are literally "donating" free bandwidth back to the provider. One can hardly use all the bandwidth at any given time, unless you are streaming more than 10 HD movies and torrenting/P2P all the time. Or running online server "farming".

Just to update my experience :

TM Unifi 100Mbps. Old plan expired, renew 2 years to same plan (only removed the unused TV package) - RM129 / mth.
Shah Alam, Selangor area.

Those 30 firmware updates that you see is only from 2018
There are lots more from 2013 but ASUS removed them because they are too old
All ASUS routers comes with long life support
