I bailed from TM just after a year, cant stand the constant bad routing+frequent downtime at my area
Ended up subscribing to Maxis 300mbps, so far 0 problem

Probably will unsub from Maxis after contract ended, not because of their service but because Allo is almost ready here

I'd probably won't be outstation that often by that time, not going to need remote access
BTW I noticed an odd pattern when downloading stuff from telegram during peak our...
Full speed for a couple of seconds, then cut off... full speed again... repeats still finished downloading

Got my 300mbps upgrade earlier of the month

My problem seems that for local speed no problem

But stuff like imgur, APK mirror
Unless using some VPN, the speed is shit

With free VPN like tunnel bear to download an apk that only takes 2 sec
While without it, takes 13mins @ 1mbps or so?

Using fiberhome SR1041Y model with another for ??mesh??

Changed DNS, the homescreen no show change, ipleak.net show my DNS still malaysian, I guess?

Channels unifi tv pack at rm159 package.

Received a call today from TM offering me new box with 3 additional apps and all
Channel subscription at the same plan pricing but need to sign up 2 year contract.

Was wondering if anyone has got similar offer from TM and isit worth it?

Wow! I asking RM159 for 500mbps, they also no give in. Yours is 800mbps already worthy.
As long no increase in fees, go for it.

2. becoz u can connect to a non smart tv to make it smarttttttt
3. becoz my plan is 800mbps at RM159 with ultimate so there is no way i m going to terminate thissssssss
4. becoz this hybrid support vlan tagging u will get better hd version of unifitvvvvvv
how crap is the box anyway? for me the only downside is non netflix certified... the rest of the feature is same as normal atv box with 32gb.

I think the only way to let most 800mbps rm159 user to renew their plan/contract is either 
1.higher speed plan announce Or
2.lower subscription unifi fee Or
3.highly attractive combo plan(like abit higher price with higher speed plan E.g rm199-1gbps or some else)

Most people dont really utilize the unifiTV,and also 800mbps normally come with ultimate plan,so most 800mbps rm159 user should stay with unifi without contract now.

I think you can only pray for Gobinh Singh to come back to get next round of turbo.

Received  call from TM telemarketing team, they said they will send my unifi plus box via courrier but not sure either hybrid or non hybrid version. Further more, box warranty is 1 year and contract extension 2 years.

My current package RM159 (800mbps + ultimate pack and unlimited calls remains) but just need to extend the contract for 2 years. Box is free no extra charge.

My questions to them;”:-

A) I ask TM what happens if box is spoilt after 12months? They Can’t provide any answer.

B) I want confirmation that I only want hybrid box. They can’t provide confirmation as the box will be courrier to your address and need to do self installation. If you want TM to come and install, must pay RM80.

Finally I told then to get their manager to call and talk to me as I need clarification on both points above .

Finally got my RM99 monthly for 100mbps fuf after so long of trying

Drop by frequently at tmpoint, call, threaten them wanna terminate unifi etc2  . Took me quite a while. Only need internet line. So got it hehe.

I saw on youtube asyraf jeffri channel said the tricks to get upgrade to 300mbps for rm129. i tried that trick, works for me. just register to maxis/digi online, deal through whatsapp. once got the order number, dont do anything. tm will call make offer for this SWU package.

btw, I'm still in contract, from Sep21.

TM says SWU only for 100mbps @99 and 300mbps @129.
Don't have 800mbps etc. I'm waiting for them to call me.

Managed to get the SWU package 300mbps @ 129

Had to walk in to TM Point.

I received a call from TM this morning but for some reason the guy don't wanna offer me SWU. So I went to TM Point since free today.

At TM Point they will try to shoo you away lol. So you must stand your ground and request for SWU package upgrade. They will say it's only offered to customers requesting to change to Maxis. So if they say that, u just say yes u considering changing to Maxis.

They say under SWU only got 300mbps @ 129. Higher speed don't have. Only got 500mbps @ 199, 800mbps @ 269 (or 259 can't remember).

The staff told me those who got 159/169/179 for 800mbps is because of their old package, they were paying this price for higher speed back then or something like that that's why they got 800mbps upgrade.

Anyway, they're confirmed my upgrade to 300mbps at 129. TM technician will come to my house to install new router but they told me to just reject the router or keep it since I don't need it. Speed will come into effect on the day they come to install that new router.

Nope can't get, only those who subbed to those super old packages I guess

Hi, anyone experience high ping spike every few seconds?
I'm currently on 30mbps plan, speed and all so far so good, but I'm unable to play online games due to the unstable ping.
few seconds 20+-ms, then suddenly spike to 2,3000ms, server will often kick me out due to this. Playing using WiFi
Any suggestion on how to fix it?
