Guys, I got the SWU offer call last week. I remember the telemarketer told me its 300 mbps download and 100 mbps upload. I even double-confirmed the upload speed with the telemarketer before agreeing to renew the contract. Today, the technician came and replace new router. Speed same as before leh!!! 300mbps download and 50 mbps upload. I got scammed, or the telemarketer remember wrong upload speed?

I tried connect using LAN cable and the speed is only 94mbps. I'm not sure is it because of my few years old LAN cable issue or unifi issue.
Few of you suggested to change router. I don't mind changing router, it's just that if TM router can't even hit 20% of my package speed, then why they supply it at the first place? Is it normal for a fully functional TM router to hit that low speed against the package? I'm trying to rule out the issue of router so that I don't get a new router but the problem isn't the router.
What I cannot understand is if their router cannot support even 200mbps, they came my house change "loose" connector(which the loose connector is also provided by Tm 3 years back) , charge me RM60 but slow Internet issue still not resolved. Is it fair to charge me when the issue isn't resolved/issue is the TM router that cannot support 500mbps/poor quality connector provided by TM? When I live chat them, they mentioned they will only charge me for the visit if the fault is on my side.

I think most people will not feel angry if speed upgrade need a contract renew,as most people dont really change ISP easily. (As the speed upgrade with current fee)
Most of them just need a internet to use,fast or slow really not a problem.

My guess will be all current plan free upgrade to upper level, since the 800mbps and 1gbps is showing the same price,which should mean TM was thinking to do so.

And Anime4000 said on another thread that most TM area still having GPon uplink,which mean the total bandwidth on the same fiber line is still 2.4 DL / 1.2 UP speed.
