yes, 2t and..er..no its not engine oil..its gear/transmission oil, but most rider just use the normal engine oil no problem, just its heavier

unlike 4stroker it doesn't have any cam, cam gear/chain, valve bla bla bla so maintainance is pretty much straight forward..
for a KIPS, just make sure you keep it stock standard if u just wanna use it for daily ride and make sure all the 2t and gearbox oil enough. KIPS original engine block is bulletproof if maintained properly

The only that is "high maintainance" about 2stroker is u need 2t alongside normal fuel.
BUT, service is very cheap, even if you do overhaul, its much cheaper and simpler then a, er...fz? FZ got a very complicated design, not to forget it got 4 valve and, er, Malaysian FZ fuel injection or carb? if fuel injection not all mech can service it properly (at least for now)
I dont know why people always say 2strokers is not good for long highway travel... mind you me and my ZX150 have been through hell and back
in the good old days I always go for a weekend ride to Temerloh and then back in just one day. I remember one of my biking fren tell me that i`m crazy, treating ride to Temerloh like a ride to Shah Alam. We (me and my ZX) also do a lot of endurance run, the first one is from my kampung, Pendang in Kedah straight to JB to meet my friend for hari raya (2005) and I live in KL
so take it as a KL - Kedah - JB - KL with a 2 stroker

not a 4 stroker
heck my small 4 stroker (Kriss) fail me the first time I travel long distance balik kampung with it, piston crack, even though I even stop in penang for an engine oil change
and my Virago 535 keep giving electronic part problem

and dont mention the problem with an easyrider, to much wind on my hair
after nearly 40K km in just 1 and a half year, I decide to try motorsports, and, I hate to say this but there is when my biking life start to suffer, I`m not satisfied with my ZX power and decide to mod here and there, doing something that should not been done for a bike I`m using as my daily ride and long distance horse. the piston destroyed when I`m going to Sepang Circuit (on the highway) after me and my mech try a "experimental" modification on the engine block. cant complain.
new block will cost more then 1K full set (original set) so I decide to re sleeve the old one. the effect is, none, actually, except for the power lost, maybe about 20%...
but my biking life halt when I lowside in Bukit Tinggi dislocating my right shoulder

And not allowed to ride again by my girl and family, but I still ride and after another lowside in USJ GoKart track, and another dislocated shoulder this time on my left shoulder...
