Its not we are cruel but to be honest Kimi winning WDC is still slim..... Hamster could still win without having to finish the Brazilian GP.

Ferrari celebrate 200th Grand Prix win

Ferrari reached a Formula One double century in China on Sunday after Kimi Raikkonen gave the team their 200th Grand Prix victory. Once polesitter Lewis Hamilton had retired, Raikkonen ran unchallenged to the flag to keep his 2007 title hopes alive. Team mate Felipe Massa was third.

"It is great to be able to celebrate Scuderia Ferrari's two hundredth victory in Formula One, here in Shanghai, at the end of a difficult race, further complicated by the unpredictability of the changes in the weather," commented team principal Jean Todt.

"Kimi brings his total tally of the season to five and this is the team's eighth. He drove an extraordinary race, without committing the slightest error. Felipe had a good race, helping us to see how the dry weather tyres were working at a critical moment. Unfortunately, the rain returned for a brief period, which affected his race."

Raikkonen had been quickest throughout most of the weekend, but admitted he was still slightly surprised with how the race had unfolded. He now heads to Brazil seven points behind championship leader Hamilton and just three adrift of second-placed Fernando Alonso.

"Last week in Fuji, we were unlucky but today things went right for us," said the Finn. "We have had yet another example that in this sport anything can happen. The situation in the drivers' classification is still difficult, but I will try everything to win in Brazil, even if the final outcome does not just depend on what we do. It should be a great battle, very hard to predict and interesting."

It was a good day all round for Ferrari, whose engines also powered Toro Rosso to fourth and sixth courtesy of Sebastian Vettel and Vitantonio Liuzzi.[+]

I guess he ignored the yellow flag on his radio and accelerated till...BAM!!!..his right front tyre 'shifted' to the left tongue.gif

Remember Michael last year?
Just like things not bad enough...he punctured his rear tyre caused by some debries from Nico Rosberg's accident.

Things happen.

QUOTE
But even Dennis, barely mentioning Alonso's drive to second place, seemed not to hide whose side he was on in China, where scoring two more points than Alonso would have secured the championship for Hamilton.

"We weren't at all fazed about Kimi; we didn't care about Kimi; we weren't racing Kimi; he (Lewis) was racing Fernando," the team boss said.

"Kimi winning and Lewis coming second was adequate - but it just didn't work out that way."

Yup.

Dennis Baba: "we were basically racing Fernando"

doh.gif

Alonso was asked at the Chinese Grand Prix whether he had been treated fairly by McLaren and whether they might be somehow slowing his car to favour teammate and championship leader Lewis Hamilton.

"Difficult question...I will not answer," Alonso had replied.

Without Fernando, no f****ng way they will be as competitive as this season.
Minus the cheating lah.

McLaren has banned Ferrari team members from entering its hospitality facilities for fear of another spying scandal, according to reports.

It is claimed by the Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo that the Woking based team sent a letter to that effect to Ferrari boss Jean Todt ten days ago.

McLaren was fined $100m and kicked out of the constructors' championship recently at the end of a scandal involving the transfer of Ferrari secrets.

El Mundo said McLaren workers, meanwhile, have been advised to not even speak with their Ferrari counterparts at races.

Todt reportedly replied to Ron Dennis' letter, informing him that McLaren team members are still welcome to enjoy Ferrari hospitality at Grand Prix.

great race by kimi. Still a little chance for WDC, very little, but not impossible. Who knows, Alonso may take Hamilton out, if McLaren is not going to allow him to beat Hamilton, he'd rather see Kimi winning it.
